this place gives you an amazing basement vibe like no other. the staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the food! OH MY LORD!!! if you are a burger lover in the city, this place is an absolute must. you have to order the Barney's Burger. fully loaded and the flavors are incredible.

The place is cozy, and the atmosphere is vibrant and fun. Great Latino music ( the dj knows how to keep your feet moving). The parking situation is the only reason I don't go there more often. Love this place.

If you are in need of a dive bar in East Boston, this one fits the bill. We were staying with friends who live near Barney's. Had to try it. It is a dive bar! I did not care for their empanadas. Chicken wings were ok. Lots of TV screens with live soccer. A classic dive bar.
