Catering. Chicken parm, eggplant parm & raviolis were excellent. Got chicken florentine too, ehhh. Expected it to come like the parm.(same price) chicken topped w spinach & cheese & sauce. But it was all chopped up & loaded with ziti. It was mostly a pasta dish. The biggest offense w it for me was that it had red peppers in it. Yuck. My fault I guess cuz I assumed it would be like I have had everywhere else. Everything else I ordered was delicious & eaten. Only thing I took home was a full tray of of the Florentine which will go bad cuz I don't like peppers. Prices are good too.

I had never had a meatball sub without the cheese melted and also on a non toasted roll until the other day. The big thing I observed was the prices were not visible on the menu board. Overall we were disappointed as we heard many good things. The meatballs were tasty, but in a sub, there were not enough of them.

We had Sammy Carlo's cater a party and everyone raved about how good the food was. People were going back for seconds, telling me the meatballs were "amazing", and constantly asking "who made the food?". They were easy to work with and extremely pleasant. We had a buffet and the food trays looked wonderful. Sometimes when you order a tray the presentation is lacking with the food looking less than appetizing but not these. And the value! I couldn't be more please with what we paid for what we got. I'm definitely using them for any catering I have in the future. HIGHLY recommend.

One of our favorite lunch spots. Always has consistently good food. Fries are fantastic.
A random find while out looking for breakfast. What a treasure! Tons of great atmosphere simmered in some local neighborhood history. The breakfast was amazing. Some of the best home fries to be had are right here. The French toast was also delicious. I would recommend this place for sure. Great spot and I will be back.

Did a catered event, food was excellent. There was an issue, they forgot about two dishes that we called and added on, and no sense of concern by them about making it right. So service could improve.

I grew up going here back in high school (Savio). I haven't been there in about 20 years. The other day, I was in Eastie and had to go to Carlo's. I'm very happy to say that the quality is still amazing to this day. I recommend getting a couple slices of pizza too. You will not be disappointed going to Carlo's for any reason.

Best Italian sub shop and deli around. Not only is there meatball in Italian sub. Some of the best I’ve ever had there Italian entrées are excellent as well. They also have a very successful, catering service. I highly recommend this beautiful old-school place.
