Was a great beef, but for the price it was not what I expected. It was late so maybe they were running short. I'll update my review when I try again next time

I would never have decided to go to a roast beef sandwich restaurant but I'm glad I chose this time. Their roast beef sandwiches are great and I'll be looking forward to gett another when I visit Boston again. My wife has the fried scallops and she said they were perfect. 5 ⭐

Our favorite roast beef place! We always run in when near E. Boston or Logan Airport. Never had a bad sandwich. Good old dependable Royals, never disappoints and always impresses visitors.

I’m from out of town and a friend who used to be local has been talking up this place for a year since they found out I’d be in the area. To honor their recommendation, I took the three train pilgrimage from Cambridge and walked the 7 minutes from the train station to Royal’s. Suffice to say, expectations or lofty.
Fortunately (for me and my friend’s sake), expectations were met and passed. I ordered the super beef, 3-way platter. The sandwich was plentiful, delicious, and fresh, and so were the fries. If given the opportunity, I will definitely visit again.
