They have teriyaki salmon on the menu and they give a pittance of salmon, I think they have to put a little more, otherwise it's better not to sell it, it's a small piece of salmon.

Delicious food at a great price. We appreciate all the staff for accommodating our requests and preparing our bento and rolls. Thank you! :)

This is a cheap copycat of Sarku Japan, well beloved in US shopping mall food courts. I would recommend to look elsewhere because I should have know that East Boston would be the last place in the city to find tasty Japanese styled food. I ate like like a quarter of the bland chicken and just thew the rest out. With my luck, my stomach felt uncomfortable within 1.5 hours. I never leave bad reviews but boy this place is a waste of space.

[The good] Price was good for Chicken Teryaki plate and Spicy Yellowtail roll was reasonable. Order was made faster than a McDonalds experience.

[The bad] The Spicy Yellowtail roll was DISGUSTING. I had a bite and spat it out. 1st off they are using the bloodline of the Hamachi which no restaurant uses because it contains a metallic irony taste. The fish tasted sour and the Maki roll had so little Spicy mayo that it was dry and they charge you 75 cents if you ask for more sauce, for an already dry item! Also the fish looked gray in appearance.

Chicken teriyaki plate. The rice was dry and slightly undercooked. The chicken had a good sear but it lacked any flavor. It just tastes like chicken, salt, and whatever neutral oil they cook in. The veggies were 85% cabbage with a slice of carrot and a tablespoon of broccoli. The veggies were mushy, overcooked, and the broccoli and carrot lacked color and vibrancy.

Do NOT go here if you have a food allergy!!!!

I have a serious shellfish allergy that I expressed at checkout and the woman said “shellfish? Okay.” However I noticed that they made my sushi roll on the same board and with the same knife as crab & shrimp; wiping the knife on the same green towel used for all rolls. After seeing this I expressed again to the staff that I have a shellfish allergy and the man (who seemed to be the manager) said “you ordered salmon”.
CLEARLY he did not understand the difference between regular fish and shellfish until I said “I am allergic to shellfish, meaning not regular fish, but crab, shrimp, lobster, etc.” He nodded like he understood and then continued to wring the same green towel out in the sink with just water, and wipe the surface down with the towel on the same porous cutting board surface used for shellfish. I told them that I was not comfortable eating it and asked for a refund. He told me that he cleaned it and he clearly didn’t understand that the surface should be completely disinfected or another surface should be used to avoid cross contamination with a serious (AND COMMON) food allergy. I asked him to please take food allergies seriously because I could die if there was cross contamination with shellfish in my food. I have never had an issue like this with other seafood sushi places.

PLEASE take extreme caution when ordering/ eating here if you have a serious allergy and WATCH THEM MAKE YOUR FOOD.

I left with contaminated sushi and no refund.

I ordered delivery for just me - perfect. Fresh, delicious, good portions, and reasonably priced. And, LOVE that you can get individual servings of seaweed, edamame, or spring rolls for only 3 bucks! Other places give you a bigger portion (enough for 2) but charge triple that. I filled up on $30 … almost unheard of for high quality sushi. Highly recommend, especially if you’re ordering solo.

Best of its category imo.Sauce isn't overly sugary like most others and the price is good.

Good quality teriyaki chicken and rice. The bento is a good sampling for a reasonable price. Very nice, polite, and friendly service. The staff are excellent and courteous, always in a good mood and ready to serve up both food and a quick conversation. Clean spot. You can see the food made fresh.

Staff was okay, was a quick in and out sort of place. I sat and ate and was unbothered. The shrimp was rubbery but the beef was pretty good.

Not too hard to make teriyaki... Might be hard for them to make people feel welcome and actually want to come back. I'd order from teriyaki yummy before I come back here Just
