We made a reservation as suggested, but we didn't need it that night due to a food truck festival close by, I'm assuming. Nice view of the lake. Parking in the lot limited, we had to use the street. We ordered the French dip w/ fries and fish tacos w/onion rings. Both were nice portions and good. Service was prompt and friendly.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner at 308 Lakeside with our amazing waitress, Jen. We started with a Clam Chowder & Loaded Bloody Mary, which is only available on Sundays. For entrees, he had the Cajun Prime Rib with a Cesar & Butternut Squash, which was full of flavor. I had the Baked Haddock with Mashed Potatoes & Bacon Gouda Stuffing. Everything was seasoned perfectly & the service was amazing. First time and not the last, looking forward to the new menu for fall!
We were kind of disappointed in our lunch. My Tuscan calamari was just ok, French onion soup was mediocre, and my husband's chicken salad sandwich was mostly bread. We sat out on the deck and the view of the lake and cool breeze made our experience very enjoyable. Maybe we'll come back and try lunch again. We've had better luck eating dinner here.
