“Dunny's tavern is a small town bar with a big city atmosphere. Whilst listening to some phenomenal hits, that spanned from the seventies, up into the 90's (played by the band: Tequila Mockingbird) I was greeted by Karen: an ostentatiously attentive, and curious tender of the bar who aided me in my quest for the perfect bottle of brew. After having spent a few hours of my time listening to some amazing music, I decided it was time for me to part ways and head on to the next bar. That being said, if you are ever in Spencer, Massachusetts, are in need of/desire great company, a wonderful atmosphere, and cheap drinks, hit up Dunny's bar!”
“This was one of the best dinner dates I've ever had with my boyfriend the food was unbelievably good. the portions were so big me and my boyfriend couldn't finish them, the service was absolutely amazing. I wish I got our waitress name so I could put her in here as well as the lady who brought the food to us she was very lovely as well. it was a little loud but it's a Saturday night as I'm writing this so I can imagine it's quite busy. I had the spicy mussels with the hot ocean a Thai ice tea and a deep fried ice cream. My boyfriend had the crabragoons with the lobster rice special and a deep fried banana as well as their hot coffee, Highly recommend and we will gladly be back sometime soon. ?”
“I meet my friends here every Thursday and every time I try something new off the food menu I'mBLOWN AWAY!! Great place friendly staff and a great spot to eat and drink!”
“One of the few old style diners still left. Great food along with great service. A lot of regulars are always in attendance. A place where everybody knows your name. Specials offered every day for Breakfast & Lunch both priced right. Also a Lakefront view as a bonus. 5 Stars for Trolley Stop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“A place where you can wear your house slippers and get a good pour! Highly recommend to local slipper wearers and travelers alike. The podunk press said it themselves!”
“This place is a little hidden gem! I was hearing about a place to get the best fried chicken and this is it! It’s as delicious as I heard it was, I highly recommend you try it out!”
“I've been going here since the early 2000's and the food never disappoints. My go to is always off the special menu C28 Szechuan pork, chicken fingers and boneless spare ribs. SO GOOD!”
“Excellent venue for the break of your fast ! Service was excellent! The timber frame construction with a train travelling around above us is a great distraction for kids ! My french toast was a little cold but otherwise the food was top shelf.”
“Just stopped by here while out for a ride. Never been here or heard of before. We had a quick Reuben sandwich which was good for lunch. Has a nice view of the water out back but, patio closed for winter. Service was good and place was packed. Have nothing bad to say and would stop again if in the area. Parking was lousy as you have to park on the street.”
“BEST ROASTBEEF HOAGIE I'VE HAD IN YEARS, WISH IT WASN'T 250 MILES FROM HOME. I'D BE THERE THREE TIMES A WEEK.Parking: PLENTY OF ROOM FOR OUR TRUCK AND TRAILER.”
“Free really decent music on Fridays, inexpensive bottled waters!!! Some of the beers they brew look inviting!!! And trivia !! We have been coming here for months on Fridays!!! Food also looks fantastic!!”
“Great brewery to check out in Brookfield, Massachusetts. We loved the Pumpkin Carver. The flights come out on a wooden oak leaf, which was fun.Good function room, there was a party downstairs, while we were at another upstairs- plus some room at the bar. They had a live band playing, and it was very family and (I think) dog friendly.Thumbs up”
“Probably the best Burgers I have had in my 56 yrs., and the handouts fries are great. The Proprietors (Sisters) are just great down to earth people and work hard to make sure you walk away full and happy .I would strongly recommend a swing by and enjoy some hand & homemade food!”
“We love traveling the nation to visit new breweries. We were super excited about Treehouse from all of the hype and it did not disappoint. It’s a huge venue in the middle of nowhere and yes it has a long wait, but the staff are friendly, and the beer is delicious. There are a lot of people who bring pot luck style set-ups, and lots of pets and kids. The place is huge, there are plenty of food truck options and free pin ball machines. We had such an amazing time that we returned the next day. Definitely one of our all time favorite venues.”
“BT’s has the best barbecue I’ve ever had - hands down!! I grew up in eastern North Carolina ( one of the cornerstones of BBQ in the U.S.) and BT’s is better than anything I’ve had back home.Give their brisket and pulled pork a try and you will not regret it!”
“My husband is disabled and they were quick to give us the closest booth available. Our waitress was really attentive and the foooooood!! I had duck two ways and it was amazing! My husband had a wonderful hanger steak that was delicious and surprisingly reasonably priced. We splurged on an express cocktail that was beyond good. We'll be back!!”
“The food is really good. I probably get pancakes every time I go. It's too bad that they're probably suffering from all the work on 20. I believe they're cash only - but it's been a while. The service is pretty quick and nice.”
“Great local destination with tons of small town New England charm and quirk! Fun watching g the locals interact with the staff. Great burrito. Excellent beers brewed on site.”
“June is amazing!! Her cookies & cakes are stunning. We buy them a gifts all the time esp at each holiday. She has made so many cakes for us over the years for birthdays and special occasions. Everything very tasty and beautifully decorated.”
“Although canned mushrooms I applaud this establishment with 5 Stars for following directions.White pizza-olive oil and garlicOrder- extra, extra, extra mushrooms,1 pineapplePrice- under 25$Taste- amazing”
“Everything about Condesa was amazing! I ordered takeout for lunch and was so amazed that I had to come back to dine in. The atmosphere and decor is open and modern. All of our food was delicious, and our drinks were tasty and had beautiful presentation. Our waitress was the perfect amount of attentive, and our dishes came out perfectly timed. Our new go-to spot!”
“Me and my co-workers went there for lunch but since I don't eat lunch I just sat with them and had a glass of water but the service was fast for them and food definitely smell good”
“Love this place. Highly recommend the Greek morning, the Sanchez, or their homemade chicken salad sandwich. I live like 10mins away, and on the weekends this is my spot to take my friends out for a quick brunch. The other day, I customized my breakfast into a Greek Sanchez and it was ?”
“Liz designed Winnie the Pooh cookies for a baby shower I was hosting. She went so above and beyond in terms of detail and creativity - truly almost too special to bite into. And the cookies were delicious!”
“So.. I moved to Massachusetts almost 10 years ago and had no idea there was an Italian bakery nearby. What a pleasant surprise! I got a bunch of different pastries, and bread. Absolutely amazing!! Honestly some of the best I've ever had!! I'll be back SOON!!”
“We were given a table closest to the door. It was cold in that spot and every time someone opened the door to come or go, we got a blast of cold air. I had to keep my jacket over my lap and my feet and ankles lost feeling less than halfway through our dinner. The service was attentive and good overall. My wife and our dinner companion loved their meals and my wife rated her meal top 5 ever.I got the lobster bisque as a starter. The taste was excellent but finding any lobster meat was a treasure hunt.I got their daily special tuna wellington. Taste was very good but it wasn't the best tuna I've had and it wasn't close.I was very happy with my food don't get me wrong, but at $40 a plate I was expecting more. Also along the $40 a plate line, they use disposable paper table coverings. It stocks out over the edges of the table and is a little awkward. We folded the paper out of the way.I believe the restaurant is looking to deliver a high end dinner experience and so I'm a little surprised they don't use linen table cloths. My rating on food is a value rating as much as the actual food itself. The food was very good,Atmosphere is low because of coldness and I'm betting our table isn't the only table that feels the cold breeze. Also because of the paper tablecloth. Cute but probably not for the vibe they're looking to deliver.A little less cost per plate this would have been 5* across the board for me.”
“The only reason why it's 4-stars and not 5 was because even though they say you can get a fish entree during lent (which is a very good salmon dish). They neglect to say anywhere on their menu that their seafood chowder is made with pork. Also, they unfortunately had to cancel the wagon ride due to the mud and served hors d'oeuvres instead. But once again, no vegetarian/fish option for that. I would still recommend it, just not During the Lenten Season.”
“We got pizza from Napoli's last night and it was fantastic. Simple cheese pizza and then a meatballs, roni, and mushroom. Both cooked perfectly. Jerry does a fantastic job. I highly recommend them even if you have to drive a little ways, they are worth thr drive. Really old school italian pizza.”
“Made our way up from NJ after making a beer pickup from Treehouse and what a great find this was. Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal and the people were super nice. Seriously the home fries were out of this world. 100 pct will be back on our next Treehouse visit. Highly recommended.”
“Food is delicious, portions are generous and prices are reasonable. And, they accept credit cards. A little bonus is a side of macaroni salad or possibly tomato salad is automatically included with each order. Only regret is that they are now closed for the season until April, 2023.”
