While the bartender is great, the food not so great. I've tried this place a few times and I won't be back.The chef is arrogant and one who forgets who pays for and eats "his" food. I don't eat raw seafood, so when I asked the chef to cook the tuna to my liking, he flatly refused. If I'm paying for the meals, (and they're not inexpensive by any means), I should be able to get my meal the way I want it cooked, not raw. Some restaurant folks seem to forget that we are the paying guests. I do not recommend Josh's. It's sad to see a place start to decline.

Wonderful experience as always. Food was delicious with great presentation.had risotto with scallops and shrimp and duck breast with cherry sauce. Both outstanding. Wine selection was excellent and shared apple crisp was awesome. Be certain to ask for the cranberry rolls. Service was attentive but not hovering.

We've eaten here twice in the past few months - the first time was great, the second time not so much, so I'm frankly not sure what to think. The bruschetta, for example, was more like tiny pizzas instead of crostini with fresh tomatoes and basil. Bruschetta doesn't usually have melted cheese on it. Creamy Italian dressing was, well, not creamy. Crab cake was very large and kind of squishy with too many bread crumbs in it. Veal chop was very good, and on the fist visit the fish with lemon was wonderful. The service and people here are lovely, though, so we will try again. But not right away.

Had mixed reviews! My husband had a fantastic duck dish, but I went with the highly recommended seafood Alfredo that I was told had a "light, not too rich" sauce. There were no visible chunks of lobster, and the 3 scallops and 2 shrimp were set on top a thick heavy glop of pasta noodles that were drowning in sauce- not at all "light" as described. We were seated in the back where it was noisy and had to wait almost an hour to get our meal. The first course included one wrong salad that had to be switched. Perhaps it was an off night, but disappointing!

We had dinner last Saturday evening with our two friends, and it was delicious! The salads were so tasty. I loved the anchovy toasted bread in my Caesar salad, and our friends loved the balsamic fig dressing in theirs. My steak was cooked perfectly.! My husband enjoyed his Papardelle pasta dish as well. Our waitress was very attentive and caring! The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful too.

For every positive, there was a negative, so it averaged out. The bruschetta tasted like it was pre-packaged and then microwaved with a balsamic marinade sprinkled on top. The shrimp and scallops pappardelle was good. The hostess was friendly but the waitress just wanted to order take, and do that quickly. When we told her it was out first time at the restaurant and asked her what she'd recommend, she said everything was good and then left the table readily. She repeated the same behavior throughout the meal which diminished the whole experience. I think it would have been perfectly acceptable if we were at a diner and I also believe we would have had a different experience if the waitress wanted to be there.

I have gone to Josh's for years since they opened and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, the waitstaff is kind and attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. The only way you'll know is after you go!

Did not have a reservation but was seated .hostess and server were lovely , food was fantastic and we started with the duck wings that were different original and delicious my husband had the seared scallops with tiger shrimp,I got the steak special.everything was was cooked to perfection. Thank you for making a wonderful dining experience

Upon arrival I was so impressed by the atmosphere and cleanliness. Our server, Patrick, was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were yummy as they accomodated my request for a strawberry mojito. Our entrees (scallops & filet) were absolutely delicious. And to too it all off that chocolate chip lava cake was the most perfect way to end the meal!! Cant wait to go back!!​​​​​​​​​​

Great size side salads, great burger, very unique and good french fries..kinda like a thin steak fry; great rolls (cranberry and plain); great steak tips and filet; great food at good value; hard to get reservations but call too!

I ate the chicken piccata. The sauce was too rich and very salty. I felt very full after the meal for many hours and it had nothing to do with size of the portion which was average. The bread was tasty.

Outstanding meals as our fish was perfectly prepared and very flavorful. Service was good and the Tiramisu was also very good. We will definitely be back!
