Nice lunch
The food is nice but what’s with all the plastic waste? Even for eating at the farm, the food is brought out in huge plastic boxes, and there’s no recycling on site. Why not switch to paper boxes? It doesn’t really seem compatible with a local farm promoting sustainability. I would come here more if I could skip the plastic
Laura catered our wedding at the Coonamesset Farm and prepared one of the most ridiculously delicious meals that we and our guests have ever had at a wedding. Laura is an artist when it comes to her food concepts and the execution was flawless. One of the main dishes was tenderloin and every single piece was cooked to near perfection. I can’t say enough about what an amazing dinner she created - not to mention the creative appetizers like onion-ricotta-truffle tartlets and mushroom crostini. We had a large group of vegetarians and they equally loved the food, the vegetarian lasagna with béchamel sauce was incredible. Buffalo Jump and Coonamesset Farm’s Jamaican night (also Laura’s recipes) will be an annual tradition for us. We can’t thank her enough.
We were in the area visiting family and we were recommended here for breakfast. The food is as fresh as it gets. Being on location of Coonamessett farm, they locally and sustainably source their ingredients, making the food truly farm to table. The food was delicious, flavorful and fresh. We will most certainly be visiting again next time we are in the area!

Food was very good, staff was friendly and accommodating. I felt it was a little pricey for the portions but the quality of the food is good.
My favorite dish on the menu. Perfectly executed.
We were at Buffalo Jump on Saturday meeting with our photographer. My soon to be husband and I both got the breakfast sandwich (I think it's referred to as the English breakfast). I got egg whites and bacon only, and he got it the way it was written on the menu. It was delicious!! Our photographer got the scallop rice bowl. She loved it!! We love Buffalo Jump for their amazing fusion of flavors and farm fresh ingredients. Can't wait to go back!! Would recommend to anyone in the area for breakfast/lunch.

A superb meal. We selected the five course set summer meal. Many items from their farm. Unique dishes prepared perfectly. Wonderful and friendly service. They explained each dish and answered all our questions. You pre-pay when you book the reservation. There is no menu you order from. Not for children. Perhaps they could have had more time between courses. BYOB. For sure a do again.
Creative, innovative and delicious
The restaurant is not about glitz and glamour. It is about serving fresh, farm vegetables and fruit from their own farm at the peak of their flavors and in dishes that present those flavors at their best. It is so satisfying to eat tasty farm food that you naturally eat less and enjoy it more that this place has made me a regular customer. I go there as many times as I can. Our visits are to the restaurant is for the food so no comments on the rest of the farm. Final thought; visit and enjoy the food as you will enjoy all of the flavors that nature intended for you to experience.
Tasty food and good service.
This is the kind of magical dining experience that you really want to hold tight as your own secret treasure. But that would be wrong, wouldn't it? So we are sharing our truly memorable night at Buffalo Jump with our fellow foodies, lovers of all things farm-to-table, and those who appreciate world-class cooking in a understated and charming surrounding. Surprises abound in this pop-up turned brick and mortar establishment overlooking fields of flowers and farmland, chickens! and birds sweetly twittering on their own feast of seeds directly outside our garden-facing table. We opted for the five course (BYOB) selection of late-spring delights, ranging from a sweet pea tart, to a decadent duck liver foie gras with roasted rhubarb, pickled green strawberries (who knew?) and homemade bread, to the best monkfish (me) and roasted duck (my spouse) imaginable. Each course was inspired and inspiring for a price that is reasonable given the level of service and care delivered. Not for those seeking a plate-full of fried clams and coleslaw (not that there's anything wrong with that), Buffalo Jump is a destination experience for those willing to trust two chefs who obviously put a bit of their heart, in addition to their craft, into every bite.
