I really enjoy this joy bowl because of the freshness, but this is the 3rd time I’ve come and the lady that works lunch rush always messes up my order. She says she didn’t see that I wanted my sauce on the side every single time at one point I even went in and ordered face to face and verbally told her I wanted my sauce on the side and she still proceeded to try and put it on the bowl I genuinely don’t understand what the problem is. (I ask for it that way because sometimes they are heavy handed so I’d rather portion it myself) There is only so many “sorrys I didn’t see” I’m willing to accept. Readddd the ticket please.

I’m usually have a GREAT experience, but today not so much. I waited ten minutes to order with only one party in front of me. The issue with this is there were two individuals in the back and didn’t come help when the party had a large order. One man even came out and looked and just went right back. They were in the back talking and laughing. The cashier and person who prepared my order seemed nice. I just don’t think this was professional especially with the employees in the back likely being senior and not upholding the norm of the regular service. UPDATE. Cashier was busy again and instead of the person in the back saying hey I have the rest of your order or bringing it out, she places it behind the cashier for me to get it after being here for 25 minutes and ordering 15 minutes ago.

This is my first time visit and the experience was great. I am a vegetarian and they have a lot of options.

I took a veggie bowl with all vegetables including avacado, edamame etc.

They have Joy Tea whixh includes boba tea, thai milk tea, honey, passion fruit, strawberry green teas.

The service was excellent and was very quick.

The restaurant and their restrooms are maintained very well.

Good parking space. Overall great experience

I’ve been a huge fan of Joy Bowl for a long time. I’ve spent over $200 there just last month alone, visiting multiple times a week because I genuinely loved the food – until recently. Unfortunately, my last visit left me feeling disappointed and undervalued as a loyal customer.

As a regular, the staff knows me and my usual order, which always includes avocado (I’m well aware it’s extra). However, during my last visit, the worker oddly pointed out that avocado costs extra – something they’ve never done before. It felt unnecessary and awkward, especially since I’ve ordered it countless times and paid extra without issue.

What made the experience worse was that I brought a friend along. When it was his turn to order, he wanted to add shredded carrots as an 11th topping, slightly exceeding their 10-topping limit. Instead of handling the situation with understanding or flexibility, the worker made it an unnecessarily big deal. I understand that businesses have rules, but this felt overly rigid and, quite frankly, petty.

Here’s the thing: I’ve been a loyal customer, spending significant money here and even bringing new people to try the food. If the business can’t afford to offer a loyal patron a tablespoon of shredded carrots as an extra topping, I think there are bigger concerns to address. The 10-topping limit itself feels excessive, especially since most of their toppings are inexpensive raw ingredients like shredded carrots and cucumber. It’s not like we were asking for extra protein or avocado.

To put it into perspective, I’ve compared Joy Bowl to similar establishments like Chipotle, where you get unlimited toppings – and their toppings are often more expensive and processed. At Joy Bowl, you’re limited to 10 toppings, and they’re not exactly generous with the portions either.

This experience left me feeling embarrassed in front of my friend and completely undervalued as a customer. I’ve been a loyal supporter of Joy Bowl, spending my hard-earned money to support a local business while eating healthy, but this felt like a slap in the face. If I’m spending over $200 a month there, I would expect to feel appreciated, not nitpicked over something as minor as shredded carrots.

I haven’t been back since, and I’m not sure if I ever will. At this point, I can make my own bowls at home for a fraction of the cost and avoid the frustration. It’s disappointing because I truly loved Joy Bowl, but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth – literally and figuratively.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reevaluates how they treat their loyal customers. Small gestures of appreciation go a long way, and I’d love to see Joy Bowl thrive, but this experience made me feel like my support wasn’t valued at all.

Excellent all around… we ordered first on door dash and the order was delayed and delayed. I ended up cancelling and just ordering from the location directly. Food was delicious and we will return for sure!
