Local Break Restaurant and Bar

Picked up two salads for dinner and was shocked by how terrible the food was here. Tried the quinoa salad with steak tips and the southwest salad with chicken. Quinoa salad was almost inedible. Comes with roasted sweet potatoes and cauliflower both of which were practically raw and the cauliflower inexplicably in one giant chunk about the size of a quarter of a cauliflower head. Both were slightly roasted on the outside but still completely hard and raw with no seasoning and very dry. Tips were ok but again huge chunks and very chewy. Southwest was just sad like a bagged salad dumped into a take away container and the chicken was a thigh which is fine I KNOW the dark me is juicier etc BUT in a salad it's weird unless it's cooked really well and all the fatty bits rendered out it's too flabby. This place is very much a bar which works I suppose as you'd want to be pissed to eat here.

Not to attentive to what costumers order. Wrong things in the order, Soggy and vinaigrette on the bun, so it waa soaked, tasted nasty, fries tasted like scallops and not fries, wrong toppings on the salad. Never again.

This is a great spot for locals and visitors alike. Their fish tacos are a popular item on the menu. Good vibe for a relaxed dinner or drink after a day at the beach.

Tried a new place after visiting the same places for the past 4 decades. Was very disappointed with what was listed on the menu as Stir Fry but was in actually a very weak fried rice dish. The drinks we ok but we have determined this is not going to get our business in the future.

Went again for the house burger, it was excellent, but not the unique experience of Olde. Seems like the menu is completely revamped since we last visited, maybe 4 years ago? Looking forward to trying some new things with our next visit. Great sweet potato fries.

I ordered the beef stew special, the sauce/beef was delicious. My wife ordered the beef stroganoff, also delicious. Chris the bartender was very attentive and pleasant.

First time there on 12/30/23.Pub/ sports bar atmosphere. We were a group of 7 family members. Went early around 5 to ensure little to no wait, which worked out perfectly. No wait at all. Friendly greeting. At first waitress was not very pleasant, only answered in "no" or "yes" responses. However, became more personable as the evening went on. I had the Buddha Bowl! EXCELLENT!! Ate my fill and still had leftovers. Don't let the label "appetizer" fool ya! My husband had the burger and completely finished it, which is usually never the case!! All of us loved our meals and are eager to return!!
