This place is a gem . We are just visiting and looked up clam chowder. This popped up so we took a ride.
Bought the fish tacos, clam chowder, scallops, lobster roll. Sadly we had a 2hr trip back home and everything was cold by that time, but it was all still very good!!

Such a great little spot with outdoor cottage type vibe! Lobster rolls are huge and fresh tasting. Fries and tenders went over great with the kids! We love stopping in here each summer.

Great place

I visited this restaurant today and I wanted to share my experience. The portion sizes are huge!
I had a lobster roll, whole belly clams and scallops.
The scallops were firm, not sweet and tasted like they were frozen and not fresh.
The whole belly clams tasted like they were not washed properly and had a not clean taste.
The French fries and onions rings were salty and extremely greasy.
The onions rings were really good overall.
The lobster roll just didn’t taste like sweet lobster, if you closed your eyes it’s hard to know what you’re eating by just tasting it.
Now before you feel like I’m being negative, just have your own experience and follow up with me. The atmosphere, service and surroundings is really peaceful and nice. The food came out in a timely manner and the staff were extremely friendly.
I just feel they should put more love into their food!
I hate leaving a place and my soul feels greasy and my taste buds were not satisfied.

Clams are one of the best in the area. They are cooked to perfection crunchy but melt in your mouth. Fries and onion rings are amazing also. I haven't tried the rest of the menu but everything looks good.

1st timer to Captain Jack's. Had a good size lobster roll that came with a huge side of fries - $29.
I felt it was a fairly large serving of lobster. We sat outside. I really enjoyed it!
