Just came in for dessert. My daughter got the OG cabbage salad. It was delicious as was the manicotti. Both worth the trip from Connecticut.

daily op would be so awesome if they would use less grease on their food. they clearly know what flavors go together, and how to construct a tasty meal, i find it is overdone with grease.

Food is fantastic but they seriously need to adjust their staffing and wait time estimates. When I order online they will tell me my food will be ready in 45 minutes. I will show up an hour after I order, and they'll tell me it's going to be another 15-20 minutes. I will then wait at least another 30 minutes. If it's going to be a 90 minute wait just tell me that from the jump when I order so I don't waste my time waiting.

Excellent food in the valley with delicious vegan menu items (e.g. eggplant grinder yum), which rotate seasonally. Appreciate that they offer NA beers. Casual dining environment, order at counter. Recommend parking in the back by the rail trail vs. the lot facing Pleasant Street (or if you are coming by rideshare to place your pin near the back of the building so you are not navigating through the semi confusing Eastworks building!).
They seem to always have a couple vegan options on the menu and they have always been packed with flavor! Very tasty.
I really love the food at Daily Op and have had many wonderful meals over the last few years, so I'm sharing my recent experience with the service in hopes that the team is open to feedback. I arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday, knowing that it would be peak time and that I would encounter a wait and some sold-out items. The wait seemed excessive though -- over an hour after placing my order for a fish sandwich, a salad and a couple slices of pie. A friend who'd arrived before me and ordered pie and salad got her salad quickly but still hadn't received her pie when mine came an hour later. Items came out individually as they were ready, but with so much time between them and without a receipt, we started to worry that orders were mixed up. I would have been happy to pick up a tray from the counter and it would have made more sense if the hot items took longer than a salad. It seems like the kitchen might be overwhelmed with online orders, and I'd love to see some way to gauge wait time and get more of the items in an order at one time.

I’m convinced the staff and management run this operation incredibly well based off of my only two visits.
First time here, I ordered and paid ahead for take out. I ended up getting stuck in line behind a party who didn’t know what to order. A staff member who wasn’t behind the register noticed the line forming behind me, and got me out the door smoothly.
I ordered a Jonah Roll, and a burger, which were both phenomenal. This time during my visit, I managed to beat the rush, in and out. I ordered the same thing and I must say here that I am amazed by the consistency of the food dishes.
The food was delicious, well-presented, and seemingly high quality. Staff is friendly and professional. I am most impressed with my identical orders, one of which was during their busiest time, and the latter during their slowest.

As a chef the the donut with mascarpone is a 10/10 give your cold side cook a raise if those are made in house

A great evening at the Daily Op. Some changes to the menu since my last visit. However the old reliables - the cheeseburger and the pork dumplings - were as excellent as I remember. The crab roll was scrumptious, the bread roll was exquisite The cucumber salad was super fresh. The stewed pole beans and chickpeas was a highlight. I had no idea what to expect, but it was so good, and healthy. Even though we had eaten more than we had planned, we had to have dessert. The lemon cream pie with blueberry sauce was worth the miles I will have to walk to work it off.
Overall a culinary experience. I’ll be back the next time I’m on these parts.

I went here on a Saturday night with friends knowing it would be crowded. It was my first time, and my boyfriend assured me the service was good and the food was amazing. To his credit, the food was indeed very good. I got the hand-pulled kimchi and broccolini noodles, which were amazing. The downside was that it took over an hour for me to get my food. It took my three companions approximately 45 minutes. I was frequently told by a server that my food would be out in “just a few minutes,” but time and time again I was left waiting. I wish I could say the food made up for it, but this service was not good. We even saw a party next to us order more food and get it before we got our entrees, which we ordered thirty minutes before this party. Great place but very frustrating.

I've been to this place a few times because I like the burgers.
Today on my way home, I ordered takeout, app said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I headed straight to the restaurant when I got into Easthampton as about that much time had passed since I ordered so thought it would be ready. When I got there, I was told it'd be ready in two minutes. So, I waited near the cash register instead of sitting down because I believed them. After more than five minutes, another staff member asked for my name and suggested I take a seat, saying they'd bring it out. I asked how much longer it would be as I could come back. Maybe that came off as snarky, but I genuinely meant it. I had a nearby errand I could have done in the interim. I could see they were busy.
Then the man near the kitchen said, "Didn't I just tell you it would be a minute?" I reminded him that he'd said two minutes over five minutes ago. Instead of giving me a real estimate, he said something like, "I'm making sure it's prepared just for you. I am being serious" I was too stunned to respond. The staff around him smirked, which didn't help. I was genuinely confused how a request for an actual “ready” time turned to what felt like condescension.
I considered leaving because my desire for a burger was gone at that point. Another five minutes or so later, someone brought out my food. Unfortunately, the burger was salty—not sure if that was just random or "made just for me.”
All I wanted was an honest estimate, but instead, I got an attitude. I get they’re busy and perhaps he was having a bad day, but the attitude from the staff was disappointing. From the start a simple, “it should ready in 5-10 minutes was all that was needed.”

I tried the sesame tofu with summer squash and the eggplant grinder — both were lovely. If I had to choose, though, I’d suggest going with the grinder. It had beautiful breaded cutlets of eggplant, fresh mixed lettuces, basil, pickled peppers, and vegan mayo ❤️.
Every time we went to catch the train, my family would order drinks from this place, and even though the days were short, his drinks were always the best. The long black, hot chocolate, and iced chocolate were all delicious. I will miss Sydney for his kindness. Thank you for giving me a Kit Kat on our last meeting. I will miss it. Yes?
