This bakery used to be fab. It's now expensive and the quality is fine but it's really not special. it's gone way down hill except for the prices, they have stayed up. Don't go. you won't get sick, but you'll feel cheated
Simply the best! Anticipate longer lines and wait times over the weekend
First time visiting and I was met with a friendly staff, one of the best egg sandwiches I’ve ever had (loving the pickled jalapeños!) and a delicious earl grey tea with oat milk ( thankful they have oat milk). I want this breakfast on repeat and can’t wait to pop in again! What a gem!
It was wonderful to sit outside the sun shining on a Sunday morning, enjoying a cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast sandwich
Thank you so much for creating the most beautiful cake! I ordered lavender with raspberry buttercream and it was SO delicious, everyone loved it :)
Have really enjoyed their open faced hummus sandwich. And I’ve picked up loaves of bread too. Delicious!
Love their bread! Perfect combination of crusty outside and moist inside. So friendly.
Love, love, love. The bread is fantastic, and the ham and cheese croissants are to die for, so flakey.

Our wedding cake was DELICOIUS and beautiful. We got a 6 inch for us to cut and a half sheet for guests and everyone LOVED it. A delicious spice cake with apple compote and the best cream cheese frosting ever! Also, bonus fun to support a local queer-owned bakery!

I live locally and I find things are hit or miss on the menu… I love their quiche and its creamy eggs. However, their egg sandwiches are extremely soft and messy scrambled. The avocado toast while good is pricey I find the desserts and muffins overly sugary. The bread is always good, though they do have excellent bread choices, which is mainly what I get there

I'm disappointed to find out that Small oven doesn't use whole grain bread. It's delicious but the only breads that have whole grains are the ones that state so. Like 5 Grain.

Pretty cute place! Nowhere to sit. Waited 45 minutes for a to-go order that was wrong. Both sandwiches contained ingredients we had requested be left off. The orders are entered into the computer - so the kitchen staff chose to ignore, or the instructions could not be understood. Not safe for dairy allergies. We were charged for an add-on to the order and only realized after we got home that it wasn't in the bag. Super greasy. Sandwiches smelled so heavily of spray oil and were burnt. Expensive considering all that. I wouldn't return here with these current issues.

Small Oven is just pure genius when it comes to bread, pastries and sandwiches. Their flavors are always on-point and fresh as can be. The avocado bacon sandwich is to die for and their daily tarts and cupcakes are my favorite in the valley.

We came here for breakfast on a Sunday as we had been recommended the place for good bread. The cafe experience was just ok. They have a few tables, and serve you the food you order at the counter. You can get a refill on the coffee but you have to request it at the counter and it can take some time to get it. The lox sandwich has some pickled vegetables on it that dominates the flavor. Our daughter thought the avocado toast was a scam, it is literally just one piece of toast with half an avocado on top for six bucks.
It seems the place is first and foremost a bakery, and we may update our impressions if we were to return for the bakery part.
