Great hidden gem
I had beautiful filet, and was provided the name of the Capt. who caught the fish. Great location -- VERY easy to park! Service staff very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Order a tuna poke bowl, my friend had tacos, they were both very delicious. Ordering was easy, it was cooked fast, and we were ready to go see our sunset with our food!
Great breakfast amazing lunch even better milkshakes
You have to start with the assumption that prices will be high and service slow this summer. It's the name of the Vineyard game and it can be explained-- pandemic, Island lacking the usual H-iB labor force, supply chain, and willing to pay clientele. That said, the fish is fresh, really the best on the Island and take out is tasty and well presented and for MV, not expensive. And guess what, the traffic to get to the airport is less a hassle than going to OB, Edgartown, or VH.
Three businesses in one location. A liquior stour, a fish market, and take out food market. A range of products, prepared foods, wine and beer, basic produce, meats and snacks, desserts, and catering.
Great selection of food and drink it's across three businesses.

For the Fourth of July we purchase their lobster bake special! It was steaming hot and incredibly enjoyable. Made our rainy weekend.
On a dreary evening on the Vineyard, our family of four tried out The Fish House, a relative newcomer to the food scene on the island. In a renovated space, they have built a pristine fish market that offers a variety of fresh takeout options. All of the selections were made to order, including the cold lobster roll. The better than average poke bowl was enhanced by a delicious piece of seared salmon. The tacos, both surf (seared shrimp) and turf (carnitas) were exceptional. If you order onion rings you can expect to receive onion strings. There was consensus among the hungry diners that portion sizes could have been larger. They would prefer to pay more and receive a third taco, for example, and the fish filet could have been more substantial. The service was top notch, from initial phone call to record the order to the efficient check out. With a well stocked package store in the adjacent storefront, the MV Airport Marketplace offers one stop shopping for everyone including the hungry traveler, who can dine on a nearby picnic table before taking flight.
We were in MV last week, and wanted a seafood dinner. After looking at a few markets, we chose to order from the Fish House: 2 lbs of scallops (raw), Large fried shrimp, Quart of NE Clam Chowder, and a Lobster roll. We called at 6:30 and they said it would take 1 hour to prepare all of it. 1 hour to fry 21 shrimp, scoop some soup and make a lobster roll??? We arrived an hour later to pick it up and the place was empty. No other customers in site. 3 people behind the counter. No idea why we couldn't pick up in 15 minutes...oh, and the total was $129. The scallops were huge and were absolutely delicious. The chowder had more potatoes than clams, Shrimp and lobster roll and fries were good. Also, a little tough to find in the dark.
Best Lobster roll I’ve ever had! While at the same time it was the best burgers my Wife has had! Can’t wait to eat all of their food!
Well organized shopping experience during the pandemic. Poke bowls petite, fresh and tasty. Good chowder. Boiled lobster 1.5 pounds - $24.99, convenient and good, no frills, no sides just melted butter. High end gourmet area on airport road.
