We made reservations for a Friday night. We were attending a show in Rockport afterwards. We were late getting seated, took a long time to order, and took a long time to get food so we were very rushed. Food was excellent. I’d go again, but only if I didn’t have some place to be. We had seafood linguine in a cream sauce. Really delicious.
This was the old Hearthside restaurant and has been under new ownership for quite a while. They do a great job getting folks seated and keeping things moving forward. Wait staff is excellent, they'll remember what you order after a couple of times and bring you the food out piping hot w good portions. We don't drink but hear the drinks are well made. One of our favorites is the fried clams with the tartar sauce. A lot of places offer them but few match the quality here....
Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at the Windward. Great food, waitress was pleasant and stopped by our table often. The bread was delicious. Fisherman's platter and fried scallops were superior!! Waitress surprised us with a celebratory cake! This restaurant is highly recommended any time you are in the area.
