Abundanza’s risotto beats any 5 star restaurant in the North End. All their food is excellent, but my husband is obsessed with the risotto. I must call Julia once a week to check on what night will there be risotto on the menu. She is always so helpful and pleasant. I just picked up some food tonight and she actually carried it out to the car for me. She’s the best! And forget about Joe and the rest of the staff, absolute perfection!!

I was impressed by the food and I saw very high ratings for the food by Zagat over the years hanging on display and it was true.The warm homemade bread was a good indication of good things to come like the perfectly fried Calamari with a wonderful side of tomato sauceThe burrata mozzarella was very fresh and juicy with a good quality prosciutto. Another excellent experience at Abbondanza! The waiters make you feel right at home and take great care of their customers. The food is authentic and homestyle Italian cuisine, taste like Italy. My favorite is the eggplant rollatini appetizer and of course the infamous chicken parm. I love this place, it is my favorite hidden gem.
