“Absolutely loved this cafe. It's new and has a great clean ambience.
They do have a variety of specialty drinks - I will try this in my next visit, this visit I had an early grey tea which was served in a pot with loose leaf tea. Definitely an upgrade from the regular cafes with tea bags.
Their Colombian cheese bread was good, can't wait to try other things on their menu.

She offered pick up in Medford and also delivery to your house! If you have allergies she offers, gluten-free, vegan and nut-free cakes!“

“Delectable Desires is an absolute gem of a local bakery! The baked goods are fantastic, but what truly makes this place special is the owner, Carlene. She is charming, delightful to talk to, and incredibly helpful and informative when it comes to planning special orders in advance. I have ordered a variety of pies from her - the bourbon pecan and strawberry rhubarb are my personal favorites. My family, who are very critical eaters, loves her pies so much that they ask me to pick up her pies for special occasions. Most recently, I tried the blueberry muffins, and they were perfection: soft and fluffy on the inside with a wonderful sugary crunch on the outside. It is such a joy to have a high-quality bakery like this in the neighborhood. I’m already looking forward to ordering a cake next, as she has so many enticing flavors available. It’s wonderful to find a place where the talent in the kitchen is matched by the kindness behind the counter. We’re lucky to have her in the neighborhood.“

“The best sell I can give you on Danish Pastry House is that we ordered wayyyy more than enough cake for our wedding guests (3 flavors and enough to feed about twice as many guests as we had) and it was ALL gone at the end of the night. People were coming up to us saying they tried all three flavors because it was so delicious!

They did such a good job, the cake was amazing, and the flavors are so much more unique and interesting than the basic “vanilla” and “chocolate” that most bakeries offer for their wedding cake flavors. We went with black forest, Swedish princess, and passionfruit, but everything we tried from the bakery during the tasting was awesome.

They also worked with me in advance to use dried flowers I sourced to decorate the cake. It turned out even better than I could have hoped for! Everything was delivered on time and was just perfect.

I’d highly recommend Danish Pastry House to anyone looking for a unique, delicious, and affordable wedding cake option! I think they were by far one of the best bang-for-our-buck wedding vendors, and we’re so thankful to them!“

“In reference to Ben and Gerry’s, located at the Prudential Center,, Boston, MA, a young employee named Maggie went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. I took my children and grandson for ice cream on Thursday, July 17, in the afternoon.
Aside from Maggie’s professionalism and beautiful courtesy in serving us (often a rare combination in the service industry) I watched her deal with an incredibly rude customer with such graciousness and self control. The customer was completely out of line and I was so impressed with how Maggie de-escalated the situation and kept her professional composure, especially for such a young woman. Maggie is a credit to the company and I would highly recommend this establishment based on the character of this young woman. I hope she is recognized for her invaluable contribution to Ben and Gerry’s, Prudential Center, Boston.“
