“I ordered alfajores for a family event, and WOW, they did not disappoint! They were presented so beautifully, that I didn’t even bother transferring them to a platter. They tasted even better than they looked, and they looked pretty great. The cookies were soft, but not falling apart, and the dulce de leche was just the right amount of sweet.

I took a star off for atmosphere because their storefront is very simple and a little cramped. However, I was in and out of there when picking my order up, so I didn’t have to spend much time in the store anyway.“

I explained that in person and they made it super easy to make my idea become a reality. “Very beautiful store. The young woman helping me was so nice. She was so helpful in explaining the traditional Greek, Turkish, and Albanian foods. The store was put together very nice. Everything was neat and orderly. There are tables right near the windows which adds the whole atmosphere. You can sit in and relax. Have a pastry and some coffee and take it all in. I recommend the Byrek or spinach pie.Everything looked so good. They have traditional Greek Baklava. They have homemade Tzatziki . I bought a spinach pie and a lemon tart square. I recommend that everyone at least go in but be prepared to leave with no money. I cannot wait to go back and buy some Baklava and some homemade Tzatziki. There are also frozen pasta’s. Dry goods. Cheese. Pretty much you will find something good around every corner. Eva’s was recommended to me by an Albanian girl i work with. So i trust her word. Eva’s is along the lines of the food she is used to. She says to me i want to tell everyone to go to Eva’s. So that was all i needed to hear. Glad i listened.

“The ice cream is above average. It can be a bit expensive though. Service is a hit or miss, sometimes you get a smiling and friendly cashier, sometimes you get the unfriendly one (I do turn around and leave when I get the latter). The space is kind of small so when it gets too crowded I have seen people eating their ice cream standing up, outside.“

“I just logged in to write this review and realized for the first time that the tagline for Party Favors is A Family Tradition. This is 100% true! We have ordered cakes for special occasions since I was a kid and they are just the BEST. I can’t even name all the occasions.

Their cakes are beautifully decorated: creative, festive and elegant. They are moist and delicious cakes with perfect buttercream for frosting fanatics, and they taste amazing.

The prices are incredibly reasonable, the staff are knowledgeable and helpful and the whole experience is always a pleasure. For the best special occasion cakes, it’s a total no-brainer.

“We have been searching for a marzipan cake for a couple of years now and finally found one at Danish Pastry House. We ordered the Princess Torte and were not disappointed. The marzipan is the best we have ever tasted. When picking up the cake, we could not resist buying several of the other pastries (including the mayor snail) just to try, and they did not disappoint. We will be returning to try more of their wonderful pastries.“

Last week, I bought a cake from them, and it was so well-made and tasty that my whole family loved it. She then made matching cupcakes with sugar guitars. They were a huge hit! Despite being a corporate chain, the personal touch from these two employees made us feel special. Their warmth and attentiveness elevated our evening, proving that great service can make all the difference. ?????

While Ben and Jerry’s offers delicious ice cream, the cleanliness of this particular location left something to be desired. There was melted ice cream on the floor, sticky surfaces, and a general sense of untidiness. It’s understandable that the staff might be juggling multiple responsibilities, but a cleaner environment would significantly enhance the overall experience. The decor itself is fun and vibrant, typical of Ben and Jerry’s, but the cleanliness issues were a noticeable downside. ???

The ice cream at Ben and Jerry’s is as delightful as ever. I indulged in Marshmallow Sky and Salted Caramel Blondie, both rich and flavorful. My girlfriend, who is lactose intolerant, opted for the vegan, non-dairy Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. Non-dairy flavors can be hit or miss, but this one was fantastic—creamy and delicious, without the watery taste we’ve encountered elsewhere. Although the prices reflect the upscale Newbury Street location, the quality of the ice cream justifies the cost. ?????

Reflecting on our visit, Ben and Jerry’s on Newbury Street provided a great ice cream experience with exceptional service and delicious flavors.
