Whoever the chef is here, how can you honestly serve a meatball sub like this? It’s impossible to eat, the bread is hard and short, you can’t bite any cheese with it, and you might as well just serve a dish of meatballs with bread on the side. You don’t get any of the cheese with practically any bite, and you have to eat it like you’re ravenously destroying a watermelon slice instead of a sub. Weird place. My girlfriend and I went in there as a goof to blow a little money (like legit, 20 bucks) but mostly because we were starving and it was really late and we desperately needed food. Frank & Nick's has the ability to be one of the best NY style pizza establishments inside the 495 loop. I got a half cheese half roni and it was great, with the ability to be amazing. The dough had a fantastic chew, the sauce was great, and they used the right cheese to have a perfect melty slice.
