La Mesa Restaurant & Lounge is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in—even though we arrived late—the staff welcomed us warmly and didn’t rush us at all. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated.
The tacos were incredible—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Definitely a 5/5 on the food overall. And let me just say, the margaritas were on point—balanced, refreshing, and the perfect pairing with the meal.
I also have to give a shoutout to their Happy Meal Combo—it’s such a great value and offers:
1. A generous portion size (you won’t leave hungry).
2. A variety of flavors that showcase the kitchen’s talent.
3. A price point that makes it a no-brainer for repeat visits.

Honestly this place looks good but once you get inside barely anyone.. that was the first red flag. We ordered our food and we waited almost 40 minutes. Mind you it was only three of us. The burrito was only pure rice and the nachos were greacy. The meat was red. And your telling me a burrito takes 40 mins to make and the rest of the food nahh. There wasent even anyone to?! Honestly just come here if ur mad hungry and got no where else if not then no.

Finally visited this place last night. Food was excellent. I had the birria quesadilla and my partner had the birria ramen. Both were delicious with huge portions we had to bring home. The cocktails and milkshakes both sounded amazing, but we had smoothies, both also fantastic. They could probably use some more staff. The server working was the only one there Friday night, but she was handling all the walk-ins and to-go pick-ups like a pro. Super friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!
