Another excellent experience at Abbondanza! The waiters make you feel right at home and take great care of their customers. The food is authentic and homestyle Italian cuisine, taste like Italy. My favorite is the eggplant rollatini appetizer and of course the infamous chicken parm. I love this place, it is my favorite hidden gem.
The bread comes out hot from the oven. Crispy crust and hot moist doughy center. Best bread! Mussels with champagne sauce: I've heard of mussels with white wine sauce but never with champagne sauce. The mussels were big and juicy. The fusilli is homemade. Definitely get that. I had mine with bolognese sauce. The pasta was cooked to perfection. We love this place. Last night we went for Valentine's Day and it was spectacular. The calamari was fresh and well seasoned, the warm homemade bread is AMAZING! I got the chicken piccata and my husband got the chicken parm. The portions are enormous and super fresh and so so tasty.
