Great service by Dorothy in Fairhaven. She helped make our school fundraiser a success!!! Highly recommend for any of your chocolate needs.
They've been in business forever because the product is fantastic. Best malted milk balls you will ever have.

Wow! If you love chocolate this is your place. I went here for the chocolate ice cream. I had sampled it at a festival. It was amazing then and still amazing now. Really rich but not over powering. Can't wait to come back. Oh and the staff were amazing! Probably coming here for some gifts in the future.

Excellent fudge with walnuts ?. Buy 2 boxes, third one FREE!! What a bargain!!?☺️
Dorothy Cox chocolates are a SouthCoast institution. Any chocolate lover won’t regret a visit. My mom’s perennial request was chocolate covered ginger. I didn’t learn until later in life that she lived those “because most people didn’t like ginger” so there was more for her!

This place is a local institution. I have been a customer for years, following them from one location to the next. The chocolates are good quality. The selection is expansive and the staff had always been more than accommodating and polite. I always stop here to stock up for holidays, mother's day, gifts for friends and tokens of appreciation. A must stop if in the area.

I’m from out of town, but am quite familiar with the quality of Dorothy Cox Chocolates. I personally called to see if a delivery was possible for my elderly aunt who is currently in a facility. I had the pleasure of speaking with Dorothy herself! We agreed to a Friday delivery for auntie’s chocolates. Dorothy went out of her way, to my surprise, and delivered the box today. ( a day early ) A+ service!

I was sad they were short on their version of turtles for milk chocolate but it just shows how good they are. Staff is very friendly.
Kid-friendliness: They also have ice cream and kid themed candies and chocolates.

I came here for the first time a year ago to get a Del's Lemonade. The worker told me they were all out, but then said they might have enough to make two more (what I wanted). It was disgusting. I chalked it up to them running low.
Decided to give it another try this year because I happened to be nearby. Tasted exactly the same, nasty. Doesn't taste anything like Del's or have the right texture. Doesn't even taste like lemon.
Had a bad experience overall. The girl at the counter was new. She didn't know how they charged the chocolates and didn't know what to put my chocolates in. That's fine, we all start somewhere. What I didn't appreciate was a more experienced woman stepping in and having a sour attitude with both me and the new worker.
Long story short I was overcharged for ½lb instead of ¼lb by the lady with the attitude, who then took it out on the new employee (even though she was the one who rang me out). It was very uncomfortable.
I made it clear I did not want more than I already picked out, and I was told "you need to get the half pound we rang you up for" instead of doing the reasonable thing and refunding me for what I was overcharged. It ended up that their machine timed out and I had to run my card again anyways but getting a couple of chocolates and a lemonade was a much bigger hassle than it should have been.
