This quaint local treasure was recommended by a friend who lived in the area long ago. The food was great but our server Darlene stole the show. She said she has been working there for 47 years, Wow! She had us laughing with some of her experiences. What a great experience.

I moved to Cape Cod 33 years ago from Fairhaven. Sometimes we stop at Mikes to bring food home .. nothing like a taste of home! I ordered the closed roast beef sub with cheese and au jus on the side .. i got home and 3/4 of the sandwich was fat … i was so disappointed ! Do you really think as the sandwich maker it is okay to load the bread up with mostly fat and gristle without trimming it ? i had to cut the fat out myself and ended up with bread and a few pieces of rib eye… terrible !! what happened to my favorite place to stop on my way home ?? This has happened before but I keep trying to get the sandwich I loved and i am disappointed over and over ….Never again !!!

You walk into a very clean and quiet atmosphere where you get to listen to nice music. I ordered the Meatloaf Luncheon special and enjoyed it very much. It came with a nice sized baked potato and some really tasty Cole slaw. Katie did a great job of providing top notch service.

What happened to this place, picked up a couple pizzas for any outdoor event 7pm on Sat Place was empty and pizza was terrible undercooked barley any cheese and crust was soft .Mike's use to be 1 of FH best restaurants.Sad to see this place going down hill

The clam chowder soup was pretty tasty, to be completely honest. The potatoes were also pretty tasty. The prime rib, though. Wow, sadly was not that good at all. More chew than any flavor at all. The only saving grace was that our waitress, who was incredible, by the way, made up some amazing creamy horseradish sauce. The restaurant itself was really nice as well, Just a below average prime rib.
Zero points, why, no handicapped accessibility, 6 inch single step front side main door more steps, how do I lift elder assist device over ? This day and age, no handicapped spots either. Wanted to if owner would respond, they didn't. Handicapped unwelcome

Clam chowder used to be the best around but they changed it in the last few years. Bring back the old recipe! Pizza is good.

Good chowder, delicous prime rib sub, friendly waitress. My only concern was that the restaurant could use a good cleaning and updating. There was a funky smell as soon as you entered the restaurant.
