Sweet Ginger Asian Cuisine & Lounge

I've been going here a few times a year since they opened. I like this place alot. The food is always good. Chinese food isn't the healthiest option though, so I do eat it only occasionally. But it's always a treat. The General Gao's Chicken is awesome.

If I could leave negative stars I would. This is before even trying the food. Picked up my to go order and once I got home one of the combination lunch plates was missing. I called the restaurant and spoke with the bartender who passed the call to the owner. This women is unprofessional, condescending, and rude. She stated she packed the bag herself. Well not sure who's bag she put it in but it wasn't mine. I've never been so insulted. The bag was already filled to the top and nothing else could fit so not sure how the missing plate could have been in the bag. I brought the entire bag back to the restaurant to prove nothing else could have been in this bag. I got an apology from the bartender but that was it. The bartender said I'm sorry that's how the owner speaks to people. Well she sucks and she now lost out ony business. Here's to eating cold food. Thanks Sweet Ginger

The portion size was good. Unfortunately everything was super bland. Got chicken fingers. Spare ribs. Chow mein and fried rice. Every single item has very little taste.

First time eating here and I was very pleased. My brother and his girlfriend recommended them and they didn’t disappoint! Very clean atmosphere with great service, our waitress Wendy was superb. She was very sweet and attentive. Looking forward to visiting here again when I come up to visit! :)

My Number one place to order from

House Pad Thai tastes like straight starch !! I can’t swallow it anymore , It tastes like overcooked pasta that’s been stirred so much to get the starch out not enjoyable at all. I had Thai food in Westport. That was amazing. This is not Thai food. Waste of money.

1st and last time I order here I don’t know how you can have 1 sm thing of duck sauce with a big take out order spent about 70 dollars and and an argument of who’s getting the duck sauce

Food is good

I've been fairly dissatisfied with Chinese takeout in the area since moving here from out of state. Sweet Ginger has proven to be an exception. I ordered shrimp fried rice, wonton soup, spicy chicken wings, & crab Rangoon to go using an easy online system. All were excellent. House made duck sauce is so good compared to the usual packaged type. All food was carefully prepared and packaged. No leaks or spills & ready exactly on time. We will be visiting again. Thank you!

I came here with my parents, husband, and kids. Everything was tasty, cooked perfectly, and delicious. It is honestly the best Chinese food I have had in years. Everywhere else has gone downhill. We will be making the trip all the way here from now on.
Service was great, very patient with my kids. Low key and very clean.
