Not a fancy restaurant, kind of a hole in the wall kind of place. Went on a Sunday when it opened and was greeted with "do you have reservations?" We did not..didn't think we'd need them honestly. We were promptly seated. On Sundays, they do not serve from the lunch menu, no sandwiches no codfish.. cut our choices considerably.We were with our elderly family who don't eat much, but know we go ro lunch on Sundays. We ordered a plate of chicken Mozambique for them to split as portion sizes are huge! The owner suggested that to us which was appreciated. I had the stuffed shrimp & my husband had a special, octopus stew. The restaurant was pretty busy surprisingly and that's great. Our meals were served and the ladies dug into the chicken Mozambique. My stuffed shrimp was a little surprising. They were medium shrimp with little bits of stuffing. I think because of the size, they were a little dry, but not overwhelmed with carbohydrates from stuffing. I think it would have been helpful if they were served with a little melted butter. The broccoli served with them was c[ked just right.My husband ate his octopus stew without much comment. He said when done, that he wished it had been a little spicier.
Good service, quiet ambiance and the food is great and good portions also. Definitely recommend.

1st time here , service was very polite, food was really good and would definitely come back. dont use the google table reserve just call. enjoy
