I went tonight for an ice cream cone and 2 awful awful. The ice cream was fine. The awful awful were terrible. They were supposed to be strawberry and the second one was bubble gum. There was no difference in taste at all. They were both runny, like drinking flavored milk. Very disappointing. The only bright spot was the staff member who waited on me. He was very nice and personable.

Newport Creamery offers good service with friendly and attentive staff. The restaurant has a variety of vegetarian options, including grilled cheese, quesadilla, and salads. It is kid-friendly, providing crayons and covered cups with straws. The restaurant is wheelchair-accessible, featuring a ramp and parking, although the entrance vestibule can be tight. Recent reviews highlight mixed experiences; while some customers enjoyed their meals, others noted issues with food quality and service. Customers have mentioned that the breakfast offerings, such as eggs and pancakes, could be better, with some expressing disappointment over frozen potatoes and lack of attention to detail. However, there are positive mentions of specific meals, like the Philly cheese steak with curly fries, as well as praise for the cooking skills of some staff members. Despite some criticisms, the restaurant remains a popular spot, often busy with guests.
