I went today for Easter with my family. Although the food was great and my waiter was great, I was shocked to see how the owner treated a large table near me. This is the owner that is at the entrance when we usually go. The owner went to the large party and stated that they were behind because that table only called a week ago for a reservation and that table needs to call at least a month ahead. The owner was extremely rude to this family and I was shocked. I even thought it was in a joking manner, but it absolutely was not. To blame patrons for how backed up you are is not acceptable in any manner. The table was stunned and I felt horrible for them. If the reservation was a problem the owner or whomever took the reservation could have not accepted the reservation. As dinner continued I saw the owner come BACK to the table and asked if the table was all set because he has 40 people waiting outside for a table. The family was wonderful at the table and I felt horrible because they had just ordered their dessert. Again, our service was fine and the food was good. But if this is how the owner is to some patrons, I will not be returning because who knows when it will be my turn to be treated like this.

Nice atmosphere. Good food ?. We had shrimp Mozambique for an appetizer. Really good flavor . And the octopus was cooked just right. We will be back to try on things on the menu!Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp for wheelchair accessibility that goes right into the restaurant.

While Portuguese cuisine might not be the first thing that comes to mind when visiting the coastal parts of Massachusetts, the longstanding presence of Portuguese descendants - surpassed only by California's - dates back to the heyday of whaling in the mid-1800s. But historical facts and anecdotes aside, Sagres is a culinary jewel filled with authentic flavors, warm service, and a relaxed - yet refined - ambiance will immediately transport you to the Iberian peninsula. Now, be forewarned: you better walk in with a healthy appetite, as the size of their portions is not for the faint of heart. hard to go wrong with many of the dishes on the menu, but their Bacalhau A Gomes de Sa (salted cod with potatoes, onions, and olive oil) is simply exquisite. On a personal note, the bread they serve - also typical Portuguese - is the perfect vehicle to soak up the olive oil resting at the bottom of the clay pot in which it is served. Reservations are not required, though they are highly recommended, as the restaurant quickly fills to the brim, specially on the weekends. The only disappointment is that, when stepping outside, you realize you're in the streets of River Falls and not in Lisbon's Bairro Alto. But that's life, I guess.

Also great food, people. Consistency on all their plates. One of the best Portuguese restaurants around.

Had reservations, didn’t feel welcomed. Waiter has no table manners. Food took forever to get served. By the time we got our food it was cold… if you are black you will not get a warm welcome into Sagras Restaurant in Fall River. Very disappointed since I am Portuguese. Let do better. Treat people equally regardless of their skin color. It’s 2024. Get it together!

Going to one of the most expensive portuguese restaurants in the area, one would think the service would be exceptional, not at this place!!!The waiter needed some lessons on how to work in the service industry. No drinks, cold food, and the waiter was near the bathrooms attending to his social media (looking at his phone). So disappointed.Ps: i didn't complain and still tipped, definitely not as much as i usually do, but i do know they do depend on tips so, small enough so he could understand, but big enough for the service provided!

What a great spot! Happened upon this place for lunch over the holidays and was luck to grab seats at the bar. The portion sizes are ENORMOUS and the food is delicious! I had the peixe portuguesa, which was an enormous piece of properly cooked cod with potatoes, vegetables, and rice. I ate all of the cod and some of the potatoes and I was stuffed. We had a tasty and reasonably priced bottle of Portuguese wine. The bartender was friendly and the service was prompt. We parked on the street just a few doors down but there is a small lot in the back as well.
