Ice cream is big business in Cape Cod. What made Friendly's special is that unlike many other establishments, they were open year-round, not the usual Memorial Day-Labor Day. The service at this Friendly's could be friendly, but it was sloooow, even if your order was for one item&basic. It took forever to get a coffee/ice cream combo. Basically ditto to everything that's been mentioned, only my husband and I didn't bother to stay for a meal. Sat for over 10 minutes in an empty restaurant and no one came to so much as take a drink order. When we spoke to the manager she was super rude. I used to love going here, they will be the next to close.

Overall, the food was fine for a quick bite with my elderly mother. She was able to get a grilled cheese, fries, soda & sundae for a reasonable price. The service wasn't the best, but the order was correct & didn't take that long.
