Very nice place. More of a diner than a bakery. Basic, but yummy food. My partner had the Portuguese bread French toast, and I had a linguiça breakfast sandwich. Both were good, and the linguiça was as it should be.
We stayed in E. Falmouth and ventured out for breakfast before provisioning our rental. We enjoyed it so much we went back again although we were fully stocked up! It's been a while since I have been to Mary Ellen's, but the one thing that stands out to me every time I went here was the breakfast sandwich with linguica on it. It's not your traditional breakfast sausage, but the flavor just makes me melt each time I take a bit. Don't judge me.
