I was staying at the hotel across the street woke up early and needeycoffe. Hotel did not have any until 7 am. Walked over, forgot my wallet and Destiny who was working the counter provided me with a cup of great coffee on the house as they only take cash. That is service! I'll be walking back over shortly to take care of my bill and then some! Thank you Destiny!!
We went to this bakery for breakfast. It has a dining/seating area and is more a restaurant than bakery (though there is a bakery counter. We ordered the Chami pork benedictine and baked French toast. Both were very good and the prices were quite reasonable. The bakery items looked very good but we didn't try them. I will return next time we are in town.
In the summer we FREQUENT Mary Ellen’s! But it is truly amazing every single time we do. The wait staff if prompt and attentive and the food is phenomenal. All of the baked goods are also a must! We pick up Portuguese sweet bread every time we are in town! Can’t say enough good things about Mary Ellen’s!
