What a beautiful setting for a bar grill. The atmosphere and view were second to none. They had live entertainment and the place was packed. Food and drinks were flowing and the staff were enjoying themselves while handling their customers. The drinks were made well and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. This is one of the destinations you must take in while you are on the cape. I would highly recommend this for gatherings parties or a place to come unwind for the evening
Go for drinks and an appetizer. Outdoor seating is a must: the enormous deck overlooks the harbor, with multiple bars, pool tables, and cool beach vibe in the lower section.
Service is friendly but was slow on both of our visits, despite the restaurant being only 1/3 full... We found the food to be below par: $32 for a handful of anorexic fried clams was a dealbreaker. The chowder and fish & chips were ok.

We recently hosted our wedding weekend welcome party at the Boathouse and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, it exceeded our expectations in every way. The event coordinator and bartenders went above and beyond for our group making sure everyone was well taken care of, and comfortable. The location and view at the Boathouse was perfect for our party, and welcoming all our out of town guests to Falmouth. The staff was exceptional, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the evening. They were incredibly accommodating and ensured that every detail of our event was handled seamlessly. Highly recommend for dinner, happy hour or a special event!

Loved the outdoor bar. Overlooking the water. Service was quick and friendly. We just got a drink, but it was nice. We'd go back. The restaurant looked very nice, with indoor and outdoor seating, and the menu was varied, with options for all.

I ordered a expresso martini and ask if they made it with real expresso. The bartender told me no, but said it was very good so I ordered it, but told him that if my wife would not like it I would return it . So she did not like it . So I returned it to a sub par cosmopolitan. Then we ordered the app a lobster quesadila that were bland not worth the money ! I ordered the fish n chips I wonder if it was gordans fisherman or vandi cams not impressed. If it wasn't dog friendly I would go to the flying bridge sorry

Boathouse has always been a fun place to hang out. I worked at the boathouse 15 years ago and it was a very different experience. I went to the boathouse last week while I was visiting the cape with my family. Let’s just say it’s gone downhill service wise. Our service was terrible drinks were empty, we had to beg our server for drinks and we were next to the bar. Once I walked in to use the bathroom I understood why the service was horrible. All the servers were planted at a table on their phones, smoking their vapes! It was clear no management was happening. When my husband I went to buy a hat and sweatshirt haha that was fun, to even get acknowledge by the workers at the front to ring me up was a challenge, they made no eye contact with me talked amongst themselves. Very rude. I will not be back!

We brought a group of 10 girls for a bachelorette dinner and the staff was so amazing and accommodating to us. First we started outside but when it was going to rain, staff made room for us to move inside. I want to shout out our waitress, Claire, who handled us all really well and was super friendly!
