Reviews for cakes and cookies are all positive. My disappointment is with the pumpkin and pecan pies. The pumpkin filling was skimpy, the pastry was dry and the crust was dark brown as if overbaked. The pecan filling was ok but the pastry and crust were so dry and hard. Been going to the kitchen for years...no more. Did you change ownership?

I have been in the Customer service department for over 30 years and there is no excuse on how we were treated today when we went to pickup a chocolate cream pie for the Thanksgiving holiday.
We walked into the store on Monday to place and PREPAID order. We attempted to call on Black Friday 3 times to check to see if they were open and all we got was an answering machine that stated that the mailbox was full. No sooner than 5 minutes late,r we received a call from an employee of Dutch Kitchen asking if we were coming to pickup our pie which I responded "yes and we would be there to pick it up on 20 minutes". We arrived at Dutch Kitchen in 15 minutes. My husband went in to pick up the pie and it took them 10 minutes to come to the counter to tell him they couldn't find the pie.
They offered a lemon meringue pie in its place, which I refused because I was so upset that they just called to confirm that we were picking the pie up. How do you lose a PREPAID pie order?

My mom and I have been coming here for about 18 years for custom cakes. They never fail us. We got a cake this October for a birthday from a different place since Dutch kitchen is about 40 minutes from us and we were so disappointed. So needless to say, we will always come here! Amazing cakes. Attention to detail, delicious, friendly workers. So thank you Dutch kitchen for making birthdays so special! As silly or tedious as some custom cake orders may be, your cakes make people very happy!

The best gluten free cupcakes!!! Anyone with gluten intolerance knows how difficult it is to find decent tasting alternatives. Think I'm finding my sweet tooth with these delicious gluten free nummies! Highly recommend their gluten free amaretto cookies. Delicious flavor, delicate crisp outside, with four different options to choose from. Prices are so reasonable that I may make this a frequent treat

I ordered a cake for a retirement party. The cake was amazing and worth every penny spent on it. Employees are always kind and courteous whenever you interact with them. I have never waited more than a minute to pick up an order or to get waited on when going in. Always great service.

I ordered 6 dozens sandwiches for a baby shower on Sunday, called on Wednesday before to put the order in, paid the full order, asked for a specific time to be ready, so my husband could pick them up and not worry about paying. Sunday he goes there at the specific time, no sandwiches, their excuse is, we forgot, asked them to make my sandwiches as we had 1 hr and 15 minutes to spare, they refused, took them forever to find the receipt to reimburse my husband, luckily sub way was willing to make me sandwiches and supply all topping on the side, for way less money.. so no I would never recommend Dutch kitchen to anyone, they never even tried to work with us, so disappointed bc my family had ordered many times from them… business has gone down the drain… do better Dutch kitchen… do better…
