We used finicky fork for our wedding this Saturday. Everything was fantastic and tasted delicious. Service was amazing. Everyone commented on how great the food was. The short ribs and the risotto were a fan favorite.

The Finicky Fork catered my wedding this September and I don't have the words for how truly fantastic of an experience it was from start to finish. The first day we met with Dawn, we knew without a doubt we would be hiring her and her team. Our tasting was delicious and all of the meetings leading up to our big day were stress free and enjoyable. When you hire The Finicky Fork they really do put their heart into making sure your event is everything you hoped for - I can't emphasize this enough. Now for the food... the food is TOP TIER. My husband and I are foodies so we were so excited to serve such a delicious meal to everyone. Every guest raved about the meal and the appetizers. Everything was phenomenal and we can not wait to use Dawn and her team in the future!!!

Finicky Fork catered our baby shower this afternoon and I cannot say enough good things! With gluten and dairy restrictions, I was nervous about what I could eat, but she was beyond flexible, making me my own adorable plate along with several other table options. I know gluten and dairy free items (such as bread) are not always the best, but this food was amazing! We highly recommend for anything and everything! Super adorable location in Fitchburg as well. We worked with Finicky Fork for a catered professional event for about 25 people. The food was good, but after initially securing the dates for our event, the owner was completely out of communication until right beforehand, and then again throughout the event when we encountered issues like late service and general questions. Despite repeated phone calls, emails and a text message, she did not respond to our concerns (until it was time to send us a bill, then she reappeared, with no acknowledgements or apologies for not returning calls/emails). At one of the meals, servers forgot to bring the burners that go beneath the catering pans to keep food hot, which meant that we had to send someone to a nearby grocery store to purchase them ourselves (this cost was not reimbursed to us - it wasn't much, but the good will would have gone a long way). The stress caused by the lack of communication was huge, and we will not work with this caterer again.

Yesterday's event using Finicky Fork catering was amazing. Food was outstanding and enjoyed by all. More than enough food for everyone. Favorites were bbq ribs, cornbread, pasta salad and vegan pulled pork. Highly recommended.

June 15 - Received Finicky Fork event proposal/agreement for a July 15th event via email.June 16 - Replied with questions and request for additional catering. (No response)June 20 & 26 - Sent follow up emails requesting a response to inquiry (No response)I get that summer is your busy season (and maybe other things came up), but a quick email letting me know you are no longer interested/available to book the event and/or you are busy and you'll get back to me by a certain date would have gone a long way. Radio silence is just plain sad (and completely avoidable). I would have loved to support a small local business but responding to inquiries in a timely manner is just customer service 101.
