We had lunch here today for the first time. It was one of the most amazing dining experiences. Delicious, fresh, home cooked food and decadent desserts. Alana, our server was friendly and welcoming. This little gem is one of Fitchburg’s hidden treasures.
Everything we tried was delicious!
Menu
The Pauper's Pantry offers delicious, feel-good food with a classy twist at an amazing price. The service is great, and the staff is very friendly and courteous. The menu features dishes such as corned beef and cabbage, burger, seafood Alfredo, corn chowder, prime rib au jus, and baked haddock with lobster, all carefully crafted and homemade. Visitors have noted the food is fresh and made from scratch. The place is super cute and perfect for a good meal without breaking the bank. It is also a cozy spot with a warm atmosphere, making it ideal for occasions like baby showers or birthday brunches. The food is consistently well seasoned and delicious, with bathrooms that are very clean. Guests can enjoy a BYOB experience and find a variety of options, from turkey sandwiches to Asian dishes, all prepared fresh. The lobster benedict is highly recommended, as well as the decadent banana cream pudding and the braised short rib poutine. Excellent service and tasty food make this restaurant a favorite for many, who plan to return often, especially after enjoying the big portions at reasonable prices.
