We had lunch here today for the first time. It was one of the most amazing dining experiences. Delicious, fresh, home cooked food and decadent desserts. Alana, our server was friendly and welcoming. This little gem is one of Fitchburg’s hidden treasures.

We had a delicious dinner tonight at The Pauper’s Pantry. We started with the tasty lobster poutine appetizer. The mix of lobster, hollandaise sauce, and munster cheese was creative and a great complement to our seafood main course. A visit to this cozy, scratch kitchen restaurant must include their haddock topped with lobster and a side of broccoli rabe over perfectly crafted mashed potatoes. Pauper's Pantry is a quaint little place. It's smallish, and the noise level just right for the room. When we walked in, I recognized the layout, but can't recall when I'd been there before. Breakfast, I think. For starters, in spite of my self-imposed calorie restrictions, the Short Rib Poutine was irresistible and delicious!
