pie bar is great. cute, delicious. my ONLY hesitation is that the PRICE, especially of any specialty coffees is OUT OF CONTROL. costs nearly $8 to have something iced and dairy-free. come on!

When you specialize in something, the bar for achieving quality is set very high. This local gem hits the mark! I come here when I want to treat myself or impress visitors.

I have heard about this place for a while now but don't live close so this was my first time trying it out since I had an appointment in town nearby. I was very excited and looking forward to a tasty slice of pie.
I stopped by a little before 3:30pm and was a bit disappointed to see their selection was slim, with only two pie varieties available for slices—blueberry lattice and brown sugar chess pie.
I asked the lady working behind the counter a few questions about the chess pie as I've never had one before but, ultimately, ended up going with a blueberry lattice slice. Or so I thought.
Unfortunately, I didn't unbox my slice until 8pm that evening, only to discover I was given a slice of the chess pie. I figured I'd give it a go anyways since I paid $6 for it (which is a bit steep for such a little slice, if you ask me) and didn't want it to go to waste.
Well... it wasn't my cup of tea... or should I say, slice of pie?!
The custard appeared to be split as it wasn't a very smooth texture and it was just one-tone in flavor. The crust, while flaky and smelling delicious, was so hard, I could not cut through it with a fork. I also had a piece of the apricot walnut rugelach, which was equally hard to bite through, albeit tasty in flavor.
This was a very unfortunate experience as I really was looking forward to finally trying them out and it smelled so good when I got the box of treats into my car. For what it's worth, I'll give them another go next time I'm in town. The staff were super pleasant and the atmosphere inside was very welcoming!
Sadly no pictures as I wasn't anticipating posting.

We served Florence Pie Bar at our wedding reception in lieu of cake and would recommend them to anyone. They were so kind and easy to work with, and everyone loved the pies. I'd suggest getting more pies than you think you need because some people got two or three slices, so it went fast! Thank you, Danny and team!

Friendly service, tried a variety of items, pastry crust very tender and flaky. Will definitely return to try other items. My husband didnt like the coffee though.
Wonderful hand pie today with coffee. The hand pie was roasted cauliflower with a touch of cumin , tender poblano pepper and scallion cream cheese. The pastry was warm and flaky and the filling was perfect.
Tried the ham and cheese roll up, white bean and lemon gallette, chicken parm hand pie, strawberry rhubarb crumble, and their brownie. Everything was fantastic! Crusts were flaky and crispy, brownie was dense and not too sweet.
$1 chocolate chip cookies! Also their ham and cheese pockets are amazing!
Friendly workers and incredibly delicious items. I cook by scratch. The food here is definitely made by scratch and made fresh daily.

For New Yorkers, at New Yorker prices. Pies ain’t bad if you can afford them.
Best pie in the Valley with great atmosphere and coffee and friendly, helpful staff to boot. One of my favorite places to spend a weekend morning.

Of all the businesses in the Northampton area, I think Pie Bar is my #1 favorite. Everything is perfect: the savory and sweet offerings, the full espresso menu, the indoor and outdoor ambiance, the kindness of the employees, the proximity to the beloved bike path. Pie Bar is the place that makes me feel luckiest to live here, and I hope it stays forever.
Also, the ham and cheese rolls are genius.
