For New Yorkers, at New Yorker prices. Pies ain’t bad if you can afford them.
Best pie in the Valley with great atmosphere and coffee and friendly, helpful staff to boot. One of my favorite places to spend a weekend morning.

Of all the businesses in the Northampton area, I think Pie Bar is my #1 favorite. Everything is perfect: the savory and sweet offerings, the full espresso menu, the indoor and outdoor ambiance, the kindness of the employees, the proximity to the beloved bike path. Pie Bar is the place that makes me feel luckiest to live here, and I hope it stays forever.
Also, the ham and cheese rolls are genius.

I dream of the flaky, buttery, delicious crust featured at the Pie Bar. The coffee is the best in town. The other day I tried their soup for the first time, and now, I might have to return just for the soup!

A very cozy cafe with a nice outdoor patio. The pie (pear cherry cardamom) was good, but I wasn't wowed for the price. Still, a very fun place! Important to note that there are no non-dairy options for food (they are clear about this on their website, too!)
Dietary restrictions: All of the pies and baked goods contain dairy

Cute place staffed by insufferable employees. Drove all the way here and was looking forward to it, but walked out without ordering.

We ordered the blueberry lemon chess pie, sweet potato pie, and apple pear ginger crumble pie— all delicious and delicately flavored, not to mean that we were robbed of any taste!
The pie crust: a challenge to cut straight through with the side of your fork, but that speaks more on the thickness than the texture. It was neither crumbly or dry and I fought very hard not to pounce on every last piece (I was sharing these with a group of friends…)
Sweetness: perfect sweet treat with their coffee on the side and I really appreciated that deep ness of the flavors! The crumble pie was quite sweet, but even that slice let all of the flavors come through. I personally really liked the blueberry lemon chess pie and sweet potato pie more, but that’s my preference.
Price: I was a little sad to pay $6 for a slice of pie, but it was a great way to start my afternoon and I got to spend time with friends, snacking and commenting on the pies. I would say it’s worthy of its price if you take advantage of the experience (even if by yourself! Read a book, journal)

The pies are so delicius! And we love the new store hours. Now we can get those yummy pies whenever! One drawback is the price.

Outstanding pies. Good chai. Nice pastries, though it would be better if they used more variety in dough. Lot of pie crust pastries.

No parking… but worse…no pie. Went in and only 2 types of savoury pie. When tried to order a different type of pie they couldn’t tell me if and when it would be available just maybe one is being made in back but we’re not sure. Seriously, how do you run a business when you don’t know what you have to sell. Not we don’t have it but maybe one will come out of the kitchen today but we’re not sure. 2:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon. How do they stay in business I’ll never know. New owners apparently. If your staff is too afraid to ask the kitchen what available that’s an issue. Left after trying to order over the course of 10 minutes because hence no pie for me
Great food and staff! Owners/purchasing should buy lids for iced drinks that don't leak tho

Our first time at Florence Pie Bar, but not our last! Lovely space - inside and outside. I had a slice of heavenly chai cream pie & a cappuccino, and my husband enjoyed a lemony artichoke/caper/chickpea galette & a chaider. Everything was delicious (that crust!) and we took a few savory hand pies home.
Very friendly staff, also.
