Legal Sea Foods - Framingham

All four diners at the table agreed the food was just OK to Good. Nothing was Very Good or Great. It's sad to compare the new Legal to the old original. They left a lot of quality behind when they went big time

This is our favorite place in the neighborhood for oysters! My husband and I love coming here, and we always sit at the bar because the bartenders are the best. They’re friendly, attentive, and make every visit fun and welcoming.

I always order a Lemon Drop Martini, my husband enjoys an Old Fashioned, and the oysters are always incredibly fresh. We’ve tried many different dishes over the years and everything has been consistently delicious.

This place has become one of our favorite date-night spots. Great food, amazing drinks, outstanding bartenders and welcoming atmosphere: you really can’t ask for more. We highly recommend it 😍

I stopped by Legal Sea Foods with my baby, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I was dining alone, and our server Rich went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and welcome. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and patient, making sure I had everything I needed while also caring for my baby. His positive attitude and exceptional service truly stood out. It's rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about their guests the way he did. Without a doubt, the best server at Legal Sea Foods, and a big reason I'll be coming back. Thank you Rich for making our visit so enjoyable

The waiter was very nice, knowledgable and apologetic for the wait time… but who charges for refills on lemonade ?? They just casually ask if you want a refill. $4 for every lemonade and refill. Food was good but the pricing didn’t reflect the amount or quality given.
The wait was a long time for a restaurant that wasn’t full. Hostesses not very friendly, didn’t seem to enjoy being there. Then another long wait to even see the waiter.

Rich B. was an outstanding server. He was attentive, friendly, and truly made our evening exceptional. His recommendations were absolutely spot-on—every one was a 10/10. The service elevated the entire experience, and we'll definitely be returning, in large part because of how fantastic he was. Thank you, Rich, for such a memorable night!

If you have a gluten and or lactose intolerance they have got a lot of options. They actually gave me hot gluten-free and lactose-free rudy rolls on the table. I haven't had that happen before. They were delicious. I had a gluten-free, lactose-free, fried fillet of fish sandwich that was fantastic.

One of us had the grilled shrimp and the other baked haddock. The fish was fresh and well prepared, but uninspiring. Same with the Cesar Salad which was below the standard you would expect with good cuisines. The service is always attentive at Legal.

The whole food was disappointing, I've been to a couple of Legal Seafood restaurants this is by my worst experience.

Great old restaurant has fallen on hard times. Worse food, worse service, cheap remodel. So sad.

I ordered the scallops. Unfortunately, they were fried. The staff explained that they do not broil the scallops, but only fried with a batter coating. The batter coating was overpowering. It's more difficult to serve broiled scallops as the batter can cover up mistakes. They missed an opportunity to serve wonderful broiled scallops that highlights the scallop and not the batter. Everything else was OK.

Our waitress was really nice.. she tried very hard to please us. I ordered eggs benedict with smoked salmon on top of spinach and tomatoes and it come out great. My friend ordered the Thai salad with steak and it came out okay. The martinis were very good. My friend had an espresso with Irish cream that came out really good delicious. I had a martini.. my waitress tried very hard not to spill a drop. And my second drink was a bloody Mary over the top. Delicious!!
