I'm giving 5 stars because it is a 5 star establishment. We went as a family tonite, service is always amazing!!! My kids love their food and so do we. We tried 2 new meals and decided to stick with what we know is amazing.

Small, quaint but phenomenal! And Becky was awesome! All but about 2 items on the menu are made in house. The steamed mussels with the white wine sauce was amazing! If you're in Franklin, it is a must for interactions with locals, etc.
My husband and I found a groupon for this place and said why not, we'll give it a try. Boy were we glad we did! It's a small tavern but was packed when we arrived around 2 on a Saturday. We snagged the last table and the bartender was with us shortly. Good menu selection and neat decor. I had a Reuben and he had a steak and cheese. Let me tell you, that roll was the best thing I ever had- toasty and warm but still soft in the middle, and the honey mustard on the Reuben was a fun twist I hadn't had before. The portions are heaping and the taste is delicious. Fast, Friendly service, too. I would definitely go there again!

We enjoyed our meals.Food portions were very generous. Prices are moderate. Waiter was very friendly. Cole's tavern is larger than it looks when you walk in. There's a 2nd bar, big screen TV and larger seating area around the corner. Patio area as well? Defently would like to come back in the summer .
