This is one of the last places I know that anytime I go I will have an amazing meal. Tried the spinach and artichoke dip and it was amazing and also tried the creme brulee for the first time and it was also amazing.
We had a 6:30pm reservation but didn't get our table until 7:00pm. Took waitress 10 minutes to come over and introduce herself by which time we had made a decision on the wine and apps we wanted. Wine delivered quickly, apps arrived shortly there after. After waiting 30 minutes for our waitress to return and take our main course order we gave up; attempts to flag her down were ignored so I went to the front desk, paid and left.
It's a very nice restaurant that has a very upper class vibe. The food is delicious but the price and the portions is less than satisfying. I once partook in this fine eatery on a sunny Easter mid morning. The restaurant was abuzz with Yale students with their well-to-do parents feasting on the small but delicious meals. My braised lamb was both braised and lamb. The salad was as advertised (namely, salad). The dessert was exquisite but if only I had more of it. I wanted to go to the back and find out where they held the other 70% of my dessert, but alas, I had not the courage to venture from my cushioned seat.
Let me start by saying when you read the reviews, take into account the most negative reviews are by people with one review and no profile. That being said I just went here for the first time. I can tell you it's closer to five stars. Atmosphere is awesome and the the food was amazing. The service was good and had an all around great experience. We had apps and a meal and it all came out to perfection. I was actually surprised at how fast the kitchen was considering it was busy especially for Wednesday. I've not one complaint really. I've read negatives about the price but it really isn't bad. We have sushi across the street and it's the same price. You get great food that is consistent with the price. I would recommend Incontro to anyone.
I made Mother's Day reservations and no one disclosed it would be buffet only. The restaurant looked like a Chucky Cheese with kids sticking their hands in shared pans of food. Absolutely disgusting. The kitchen was not open for normal orders. We did not stay and it ruined plans with my mother. The manager said they had the same issue with Easter and apologized and said they didn't have access to their own website to post the info ahead of time. I'm wildly disappointed with this place. I've enjoyed myself here in the past, but I don't plan to come back.
Upstairs is great for a group night out!
Great Wine List!
Loved Incontro! Great atmosphere plus the food is amazing! Oh yea and the upstairs where you can play pool!
Great food and play some pool! Stop in have a drink, eat some fantastic food and say hi to Jim the owner!
Very cool setting, it's a converted mill. Haven't found anything there yet that I don't like.

Great place for large groups, the food is okay but not special
Go to the upstairs bar. Very different atmosphere than downstairs and don't skip on the taco app, there killer
Parking is tough here. Had to park across the street at dentist. They do have valet parking but the kids running it do not seem very trustworthy. Probably won't go back.
Best chicken Cesar salad around!!!
