We've been eating at this Chateau almost weekly for years. It's excellent in all ways, especially the food which is consistently delicious and the friendly service.

My experience there was amazing. We reserved dinner on Easter. Our waitress' name was Ivana. She did amazing. Very punctual and received the best service. Doug who the manager on came and checked on us and could not complain at all. The food was amazing. This was our first time here and we plan on coming back more often than not.

What an amazing spot to stop for lunch! This was our first time ever to the Chateau, but definitely will not be the last! I had such a hard time deciding as so many choices that interested me! I ended up choosing the shrimp avocado bowl. I made one change to my dish and absolutely loved every bite I took! There was just too much to eat it all! Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meal just as much! We look forward to coming back!

My second time here I was not impressed, I expected higher quality for a place that requires reservations. I don't know if the dishwasher wasn't working but everything was dirty, the server did replace. My first experience was good but seems lately after COVID happened these places are struggling to return back to their normal ways.

The food is always delicious at the château. I had chicken marsala, salad, and a glass of red wine! All was delicious and our waitress was lovely. Thank you very much. It was a great Valentine's Day.

The service was great. From the greeting to our waitress was friendly and very conscientious. The food was good, not great. The meals were not really flavorful. My whole clams were dry and not strong flavored. My wife's butterfly shrimp were kind of flat too. All in all, the visit was good and the food average. The atmosphere was good for conversation but the air was cool, so we were a little uncomfortable.

Tonight was, I think, our last meal with the Franklin Chateau. I found a bone in my fish and our server brought it to her manager who then just thanked us for finding it and told us that they buy filets premade and that he’ll reach out to the distributer… and then did nothing. Didn’t offer anything other than thanks? It was weird. This was a $27 meal that I’m now learning is at least partly premade, and that apparently having a fish bone isn’t a big deal. I guess maybe we were too congenial and polite?

Honestly, even prior to this I hadn’t been thrilled with my meals (typically I’d get chicken which would be fairly dry, overcooked, or under seasoned), and the other meal today was consistent with that.

The server was fine, no serious complaints, and the atmosphere is also fine.

Really and truly the food - I cannot get over the lack of quality and care for the cost.

My experiance here on a Friday night was terrible to he honest. I ordered a trio with fettuccine Alfredo and it was just wet fettuccine with butter on it. There was no sign or taste of any kind of cheese on it at all. It was later but not anywhere past close and the service was innatentive but it really got me when the server came by to clear the condiments off the table, ignoring my card that was out ready to pay right next to them. If you want me to get out so bad, take the payment so I can leave, I couldn't wait to get out anyway.

Chateau isn't a great restaurant. In fact, it's not even a good restaurant. Maybe it's a tolerable restaurant, I don't know.

Listen up, bubs, I ordered the Trio #3 which comes with chicken parmigiana, toasted raviolis, and pasta. The toasted raviolis, which are allegedly the pride of Chateau (a recipe 90 years in the making) are effectively frozen fried raviolis. That's it. Mid AF.
The chicken parm was fine but the sauce was kinda nasty. I used to work in a dumpy ass restaurant called The Pines, and take it from me, I know when sauce has been sitting on the stove for way too many hours and that's exactly what Chateau was serving up.

The service was fine-ish, leaning toward slightly inattentive. The host was a real one though, I liked that guy a bunch.

I went to this restaurant called Benvenuto's in Wisconsin a couple times and it was lousy. This took me right back to Benvenuto's. Do yourself a favor and just go to the Olive Garden. At least you get bottomless salad there.

Food quality is garbage. This place used to be very good, not sure what happened. Uses canned/frozen mushrooms and food is definitely not fresh as it used to be.

Holy cow this meal was absolutely nasty the chicken was boiled had no seasoning. Had little to no flavor. Can’t believe that I payed 26 buck for the entrée I never ever order the chicken piccata.

This place was anything but good. When walking in, it was lit horribly with what felt like one light and had an atmosphere of someone’s flooded basement. Looking over at the first table I saw, I half expected a rat to be dancing a jig on top of it. As we sat down, we were greeted with a half heartedly cleaned table and looking into the vast nothingness of the restaurant, we were the only ones there aside from one morbidly obese couple. The waiter left with drink orders and must have went with Moses on a second exodus because it was century’s until she returned. I ordered the chicken parm. It was like someone burnt a piece of chicken, put a single noodle in the plate with a single dollop of sauce but don’t forget the gallon of sauce water that was on top of the plate. My companions got shrimp scampi and to be fair, I wouldn’t have fed the shrimp scampi that came out of that kitchen to a raccoon. The shrimp was sludge on a plate and smelled like the shrimp had been microwaved. My final friend got PLAIN BUTTER PASTA AND THEY STILL MESSED IT UP. You would think there was a little butter but it ended up being a Olympic pool of butter with a noodle every square mile. It was my friends birthday so we got dessert and when we told the waiter, she asked if she could sing happy birthday. Our friend was uncomfortable and we were taunting him, but the waitress wouldn’t stop butting in like she had nothing better to do. We have never met her before which made it even worse because she acted like we had been through a war together. The only war we had been in was that night, surviving the foul food on our plates. We finally got out of that restaurant and when leaving it seemed as if we got flash banged, forgetting how dark it was in the restaurant. Overall I would probably not come back here on account of the miserable experience we went through that can only be compared to being forced to eat dog food in a wooden crate. A little while after leaving the restaurant, my companions that had shrimp felt like it had come back to life and was in the middle of WWIII in their stomach. A strong apology needed to be left at our guest hows after the shrimp became cannon balls and shot out of my friends. Beware of Chateau, or how I should be saying Chateau Bowwow.
