This place is horrible. Dirty, worn out & moldy! Who knows what the kitchen looks like! If you're looking for a decent Italian meal, go to the Rome instead. Yuk! Never again!

We just went there for dinner tonight and it was amazing!!!! The French onion soup was probably the best we have ever had. Our waitress was very kind and very attentive. If we ever come back to the area we will be stoping in!!!

Just left there and had to write a review. I just had to rave about the food. I got the Chicken margarita and it was really good. My wife got the French dip and it was delicious, the roast beef was nice and tender and the bread so soft! The waitress was very nice and very attentive. Totally recommend this place if you are in the area!

Great little place to grab a quick bite to eat, and the staff is friendly and courteous . Had a great time there. They also have music bingo which is fun. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a good time.

I want to start off by saying this review is only about the bartenders service and attitude. I left after two beers I was so mad. I left my friend I was meeting with others in the parking lot as she arrived when I was leaving. I refused to go back in! I grew up in Franklin and knew the original Union Cafe and loved their small Italian menu and homemade food and pasta. At 1pm on Saturday March 23rd 2019 I went to the Union and sat at the bar waiting for friends. I was in a very good mood when I arrived. Unfortunately 45 minutes later I was so unhappy with the bartender and her attitude for several reasons I walked out. 1) I drink beer out of the bottle for reasons like what I witnessed sitting at the bar in the Union. The bartender picked up a wine glass, held it up to the light and it had lipstick stains on it. All she did was wipe it off with the bar rag! I said, "That's why I drink out of a bottle!". She then held up a HUGE bottle of wine to show me the bottle and walked into the dining room. Gross! That was no cheap bottle of wine because I paid almost $4.50 for a domestic beer and it's not even a nice place. You would expect a clean wine glass. If the customers only knew. It makes you wonder what else goes on that we don'tn't see. 2) The service was very bad. She was never at the bar because she was running back and forth doing god knows what. It was a long time to wait for service. Understaffed is my guess. 3) The menu is so big with too many choices, that are all over the place. It can't be homemade like before. I never had a chance to find out. I asked her if they specialized in anything, or did she have any suggestions and her generic reply was that everything was good and I would like the food much better than the old restaurant. I told her I loved the food before! I also asked her about the pizza crust, is it thin or thick, and she gave me a smart a** answer and laughed. She said "it's pizza crust, what do you want me to say"! 4) When I first walked in I asked the bartender how long they had been open with the new owner and she said 10 years. I mentioned at one point years ago the restaurant had been closed and she told me it was never closed. I told her it had been closed years ago. She then turned to another customer at the bar and asked him if it had ever been closed and he said YES!!! How dare her argue with me! 5) A couple came in and sat next to me and had ordered some kind of appetizer and it definitely was frozen food.

Great food for great prices. My fiancee and I both got pizzas because with the low price we.tbought they were small personalized...but instead they were more than enough to share. Service can take some time, but the atmosphere and the staff are really nice and make up for that.
