The Colonial Grille Reviews
Colonial Grille is hands down one of the best restaurants in this area. The seafood is always so tasty. We have always had 10/10 meals here. The staff is welcoming and the drinks are great. Please, please, please advertise!! Your staff deserve to make the most that they can and your chefs deserve the notoriety!!
Unprofessional management, rude staff, miserable workers because they're treated awful. Dirty. Would never recommend. Hotel is extremely dirty, kitchen is even worse (ask me for pics). They treat their employees horribly. The 5 days I trained there I wasn't given a set or proper schedule, or an official job title as a salaried manager. I was "hired" as a Food and Beverage Director... which a typical salary for that position is 90-120K as a general medium across the State and Country....read full review
The bread was great and having Down East of tap is always a plus, but.... the food was sub-par at best. Mashed potatoes tasted old and were overseasoned with so much pepper that that's all you could taste. The meatloaf was dry, spongy and tasted horrible The gravy that accompanied the meatloaf was gelled and looked like separated jello. To top off a horrible meal, my apple crisp was served ice cold. would not recommend:(

The Colonial Grille offers a mix of experiences, with delicious food but sometimes long wait times. The staff is fantastic, even though the decor is a bit strange. The ambiance is nice, with a unique selection of drinks. The menu could use some updating, but the options like the ribeye and pastitsio are available. Prices might be on the higher side for some. The food quality can be hit or miss, with some dishes like the mashed potatoes and meatloaf falling short. However, items like the bread and fried pickles are enjoyable. Overall, a mixed experience that may warrant a second try.
