Was visiting and taken here by a loved one who lives in the area. Absolutely incredible meal from start to finish. Food was exceptional, I had the bbq pork sandwich that was the special of the night and I honestly don’t know that I’ve had a better bbq sandwich anywhere and I’ve lived in the south. Amazing appetizers and drinks as well. Service was also exceptional. You won’t be disappointed with this place
I recently dined at a charming little restaurant that boasts a cute ambiance and a friendly staff. However, my experience was somewhat marred by the seating process. Despite having a 6 PM reservation, we were left waiting until 7 PM to be seated, which was particularly frustrating when another party of four arrived after us and was promptly shown to their table.

We went boating out Barton Cove and stop in at The Gill Traven.
Excellent food, mussels were top notch with a different twist. Lobster roll was very tasty. The dessert was strawberry and fig shortcake. (see picture)
