I absolutely love coming to 51 Rocky Neck. Such a treasure in Gloucester. It’s convenient because you can pull up your boat to the restaurant in the summers, beautiful view, location, great staff, and great food! Also! Check out their evenings when they have live music!

This place has a great, relaxing atmosphere along with hospitable, friendly staff and delicious food. I had a drink and an appetizer at the bar and it was a really nice experience. They have a beautiful patio on the water and I’ll definitely be back to check that out next. 10/10 recommend!

I recently dined at 51 Rocky Neck in Gloucester and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff making sure our glasses were always full and our needs were met.
But the star of the show was definitely the calamari. It was the best I have ever had - perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, and had shrimp, and sweet potatoes in it! Wow! It was clear that the chefs at 51 Rocky Neck know what they're doing in the kitchen.
Overall, I highly recommend 51 Rocky Neck to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a great setting. I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their menu offerings.

Burratta, mussels, scallops, watermelon salad and smash burger were good. The food service was good. I think the host maybe had a bad day? They get us all.

We just had a great seafood meal. All fresh and delicious, and they have a market attached for take home yummy food. Burger and fries was amazing too. Like McDonald’s in all the right ways.

Not much of a selection for seafood although on a dock. I got the scallops with spaghetti squash. It was a bit wet mush. A risotto would have been better. 4 scallops for $36 a coke $4 ridiculous

A GEM! creative menu, beautiful setting, gorgeous restaurant, delicious cocktails. Don’t miss this, I highly recommend outdoor seating weather permitting and the newly renovated interior is simply amazing. What a great new look. Food, staff and service top notch.

Excellent service and delicious food in beautiful Rocky Neck!! Friendly, attentive service from the hostess and bartenders (had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well!) For apps, we enjoyed fresh oysters and the Burrata & Prosciutto Cotto - which was absolutely yum! Our entrees were equally delicious - a generous sized lobster roll on a grilled buttery bun and the Wok-Charred Tuna with very tasty sides of rice and slaw. Beautiful local artwork on the walls shared the spotlight with the quaint harbor views. Live music at the piano bar and fun lighting added to the laid-back vibe. Just Perfect!

Happened here by chance of another local place not offering substantial eats and we were very hungry, having traveled and saw a music show at Shalin Liu. It was late and the maitre d' told us no one gets rushed out. We tried the zucchini boats and the catfish with leeks and bok choi with a wonderful coconut milk sauce. We also had a margarita and wine. We sat inside by an open window with the harbor in view. Our meals were unique, looked amazing, and were prepared perfectly. What a great find! We will be back.
