Yesterday we celebrated a surprise sprinkle disquised as a yankee swap for my daughter. Cecelia (CC) went above and beyond, I cannot say how helpful she was and really cared about the event. The back room was decorated beautifully, the food delicious and price very reasonable. If you are thinking of having any type of event, the Azorean is the place . They treat you as family.
Fabulous, fabulous place! Went here for dinner on the night of our engagement ❤️
Cozy and lovely setting reminded us of intimate dinners in Portugal!
The fish cataplanas was incredible -- perfectly balanced and paired great with the wine. Generous portions (we split one cataplanas) and we loved the Portuguese soup appetizer. Tons of wine and dessert options, too!
Extremely good prices for incredible quality food--we will be back with friends next time!

Azorean, in the couple years since my cousin Tony McManus tipped me off to this establishment, has been the gastronomical high point of every trip I've made to the Boston area since then. They really know what they are doing. Madame and I have repeatedly enjoyed their calamari and their paellas.

What a lovely restaurant. We were kind of early for dinner, but seated immediately and treated very well. Inside and outside the restaurant id decorated with beautiful hand-painted tiles from Portugal. My friend enjoyed roast scrod with "punche" potatoes. I had the equivalent of a seafood paella. All very delicious. A great experience overall.
This place is such a unique find! We learned about the Azores and tasted excellent food! Highly recommend the calamari, seafood paella, and Azorean salad.

We just got a recommendation to try this place, and that was so true…the Portuguese food was most excellent and the service was great. Best food on our whole 2 weeks trip in New England !

The Axorean is fun, type-y and a Gloucester staple. The food is promising but the execution is unnuanced. We go for the atmosphere.

My husband and I love the Azorean Restaurant in Gloucester. You feel as if you’re visiting Portugal! My go to is the baked stuffed shrimp… 5 stuffed jumbo shrimp served with a side of melted butter, lemon potatoes and fresh green beans. The calamari appetizer is tender and sweet with a hint of heat. We tried their fish chowder - which was creamy and oh so good! I went for the seasonal Pumpkin Martini. They have the best drinks.

We had a party of 30 for a coalition after a funeral in the function room. Cecilia coordinated the event with short notice. We got to select 5 dishes from the menu for our guests to choose from. Everyone that attended raved about the food. Most got baked stuff haddock steak tips or salmon. Cecilia was also the waitress. The food, service, drinks all were amazing. I highly recommend the Azorean Restaurant.

Alana was as warm, welcoming, and thoughtful a server as I have had in years. The food and wine were both delightful. The codfish cakes transported me back a couple of decades.
