I went to the store on Sunday, May 4th to purchase 5 3.5 pounders, one 6.5 pounder, and a 3 pounder. I told the woman I wanted to take a few of them home and it would be 2 days. I brought a 200 Quart cooler. She packed them and schooled me on how to get them home. Well, it is 2 days later, and the 3 I brought home are still alive in my cooler. THANK YOU! You folks are amazing. If you are going to the area, this is the place you want to go. I spent a little over 300 bucks for somewhere around 26 pounds of lobster. That would have been well over 700 dollars near me, if I could even find those big boys. 100% find this place and get your lobsters there. Again, thank you so much!~
Alex is always very helpful.
I make the trip out once a year from Cleveland just to pick up a truck load of lobster.
We have been going to this place from time to time since 2022 to get fresh seafood, always a great experience. We came back this time. Well, the Lobsters were still great and alive, but when we checked the Jonah crabs, there was a dead one without a claw. We asked to change, and the lady changed, but it was still dead without a claw. We asked again; she said, "Oh, God," and tried to explain that the life of crabs is quite short(means they die soon in the shop? I don't think so) but changed for us, this time was a live one. Well, we drove an hour from Boston to Cape Ann for fresh seafood, not the dead ones, the dead ones we could always get from the supermarket(those frozen steamed ones). If we get the dead ones, why did we go to you?
I lived in Australia, and there is a quality regulation that you can't sell dead crabs after counted hours because they might be poisonous due to contamination. The crab might be just dead, but it was dead when handed over to us.
Great place, nice people, delish hardshell 3-3.5 pound lobsters which were packed for taking to Florida.
Always good!!!
We were visiting from Canada in late July and were looking to have a "make your own lobster roll" picnic on the road. Not only did we buy the best, freshest cooked lobster meat at the shop but also got a friendly introduction to local beaches and other tips from a lovely young lady at the counter! Sorry we didn't ask for your name. Thank you, we will be back! :)
Looking for fresh, live lobsters, then visit Cape Anne Lobstermen! Very reasonably priced and once steamed, these meaty lobsters were sweet and delicious.

Cape Ann Lobstermen is my go-to for live seafood whenever I visit my nearby home town. Fair prices, great selection, friendly and helpful staff. There is a loyalty program that provides 'points' for future discounts.
