Excellent place to enjoy fresh seafood by the water. On Sunday afternoon they also had live music. Highly recommend.

Great venue situated on Gloucester harbor offering a variety of seafood and sandwiches as well as live music on their deck. A great spot during Fiesta as well.

Let me start by saying, the food was excellent and ready quickly. However, I was surprised by the new "system" the restaurant has adopted. I assume that due to lack of wait staff, dishwashers, etc. they had to reimagine how to run the restaurant. If you are eating in the dining room or on the deck you choose your table (first come, first serve), then when you are ready to order you go up to the front and stand in line to place your order. You pay for your meal and leave your tip, choose your bottled drinks from the refrigerator and take a number tent back to your table. A waitress brings your food to the table and your are responsible for grabbing your silverware, napkins, sauces etc. The experience was not bad but I wish I had known the process ahead of time. If you wanted to eat and drink at the bar (which was packed) it seemed that you could do that like "normal" placing your order for food and drinks with the bartender.

I am not sure if they are working on a limited menu due to Covid, but they did not have a kids menu. Food was good just a little pricy.

Beware changes! In the past this was a decent tourist restaurant. There is outdoor patio seating with regular live music. The menu is average seafood fare leaning towards fried dishes. The lobster bisque and chowder are both very good. I gave it 3 stars in the before. They no longer take reservations and they have no wait staff. You have to order your food at the register and pay for your drinks separately at the bar. The food is served on paper plates. The fact that this restaurant now feels more like a cafeteria has not changed their high prices. There was still live music but I would suggest this is more of a bar that you can grab an expensive bite than a seafood restaurant.

A party of 17 for dinner and drinks. Great food and drinks—excellent servers. Not a huge salad menu but it wasn’t a problem for our group.

Oysters,Check, Shrimp Cocktail, Check, Fried Scallops, Check, No table service? Order at the front! Food was good! Beverages gotta go to the Bar! Hate to say I like to get waited on! After all our work ordering and transfers from the bar you would think the food would be reasonably priced! Nono!

food was overpriced and over rated. the atmosphere couldve been any backyard .No one comes to take your order, however they give you a number for your table. I expect way more at the prices they charge!

Limited menu but excellent seafood selections, including a delicious lobster roll. I had the fish tacos, which were also really good. They have picnic tables outside if you want a view of the ocean, and a well-equipped bar and table area indoors, too.

We had a chance to try the food here while watching the very entertaining musical group, the Jantelles, who filled the evening with their long sets of 60's and 70's music. Orders are taken and paid for at the reception desk; a number plaque is given to place on your table and then food delivered to your table. Overall, the food was rated by members of our group from fair to very good. Two members of our group received their food order in about six minutes---great for them. After thirty minutes, I had to check the status of our order---"Working on it; out in a few minutes." It was about another ten minutes before it arrived. Oysters at half price were good. Clam chowder for me was bland and sparse with the clams. The lobster quesadillas were on the chewy side, but tasty---hard shell lobster meat??? The clam platter was abundant and filling. The haddock sandwich was enjoyed by one diner. My French dip sandwich was delicious, but had a very small amount of sautéed onions. The ubiquitous commercial French fries lacked any real flavor and might be a bit tastier if cooked a bit more. (Maybe a different brand or style might also help.) There was a crowd on this night (not sure if was because of the entertainment) which might have contributed to the erratic service. I will note that the staff seemed to try to accommodate. However, in this very informal atmosphere, I still think that someone should check on diners to see if things are okay regardless of the number of patrons and/or the informality of the experience. I was displeased to see tables and chairs being wiped with the same wet cloth: no disinfectant used, and no cleaning of the cloth after each table cleaning where scraps were just wiped off the table onto the floor. Not hygienic, and should be improved. Some on-site parking, as well as nearby on-street parking; handicapped accessible; full bar; indoor and outdoor seating; major credit cards accepted.

Food was good. I did think that 29.00 for a SIDE of clams was crazy. Paying 3.00 a bottle for water was even crazier. What happened to water with your meal being free? The atmosphere is nice the food was good and staff was friendly.

Wonderful patio for outside dining, and live music made for a great afternoon! My haddock sandwich was very delicious, and my sister enjoyed her chicken sandwich. The drinks were awesome, too!

5 of us ate. Calamari was good. Burger and chicken sandwich were not. Wings were fair. Fries were soggy. Way overpriced for the quality.
