Captain Vitos Fresh Seafood and Delivery

We purchased a piece of salmon on the way out of town. It turned out to be a nice and fresh portion of salmon. My concern was there was so limited a selection of fish! Two salmon strips, two cod portions about three shrimp and three small boiled lobsters. I expected more fish! More varieties and more quantity!

When i searched for a place to eat I wasn’t sure if they only sold fish or had a restaurant. The DO have a whole sit down restaurant and the food is fantastic. You can get regular fish and chips, chowder, etc OR the same thing with a Latin American fusion. I got the fish tacos and they were fantastic. I would highly recommend people go here and ask for Jose the owner. He’s a great guy in extremely accommodating.

But keep in mind, they are fishmongers too so if you’re looking to buy extremely fresh fish that you want to cook at home, buy it here

Had an AL Pastor burrito - it was delicious. Even better with their homemade hot sauce.

My wife had chicken mole. She loved the mole. It is homage and delicious. Can't wait to get back.

I ordered delivery. I ordered clam chowder. The WORST clam chowder I've ever had. 90% broth. A few tiny bits of clam and potato. Had a burnt aftet taste. NOT creamy/buttery at all. The steak & shrimp burrito wasn't bad but a few pieces of gristle. YUCK! I also ordered Tiramisu but instead of calling to inform me they didn't have any, they sent 2 extremely dry pieces of bread. They should not have sent any substitutes and refunded me the cost. So not worth it. Very disappointed. Will not recommend!

Honestly, one of the best seafood spots I’ve tried around here! We ordered delivery from Captain Vito’s Fresh Seafood and everything was super fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. 🐟🦐
The shrimp and fried tilapia were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. You can really tell they care about quality and freshness.

If you're craving seafood done right, this is the place. No doubt we’ll be ordering again soon! 🙌🔥

Amazing lobster roll - super big lobster portions and so delicious! Restaurant is run by a lovely family, and Joe was incredibly friendly! Highly recommended and was a highlight of our Gloucester visit!

Absolutely amazing! Delicious, fresh, hospitable. Even showed us the live lobster before we ate the most delicious seafood meal!

Food is incredible and staff is so warm and welcoming. They make you feel like part of the family!

Fresh cooked 7 fish soup. It was delicious. Food is made to order and NOT sitting around waiting for you.

We stopped into Captain Vitos with hopes of finding a good fish n chip dinner. Our fish was lightly breaded and delicious. The fries were very good as was the coleslaw. The owner/manager who waited on us was very friendly and was great at customer service. (Joe?). It's rare to get good customer service these days, but he was very accommodating and appreciative of our business. We will gladly return!

We had fish and ships with haddock and lobster roll. The fish and chip was lightly fried and texture was awesome. The lobster had light refreshing dressing. Recommend it!
