You will avoid going to chain restaurants after going to The Causeway. The food is fantastic and the kitchen staff are quick with the orders. Get the onion rings and a bowl of their fish or clam chowder.You won't be disappointed.The waitress is amazing ??

Wanted this to be a 5 star...food was incredible, perfectly cooked Pete's Platter, excellent clam chowder. Pleasant staff. Excellent home made tartar sauce!! Unfortunately, I noticed after we left that we were charged for 4 iced teas (we only had 2) and 2 cups of chowder (we only got 1). My fault for not checking while there.

Hands-down, the best seafood with the largest portions in New England. The Causeway never disappoints and is always a restaurant we come back to , there is just no comparison anywhere from the friendly attentive service to the enormous portions. You won't be disappointed.

For a small place they know how to do it well. I have never seen a piece of baked haddock as large as they serve. And my friends clam plate was devoured in no time. Service was quick and pleasant. Will definitely go back again when in the area.
Incredible! The place was packed. Wait staff and kitchen worked like a well-oiled machine. The food was incredible. I had a fisherman's platter of sorts... fried haddock, shrimp and some of the best fried scallops ive ever had. The perfectly breaded, crispy melt in your mouth when you bite into them kind. If that's your jam go now...thank me later. If it's not... try something else...this was the kind of place that everything coming out of the kitchen looked 5 star. My wife had the turkey club, a monstrosity of sandwich with the kind of thick sliced bacon dreams are made of. Thanks for a great meal.

We have been going to Causeway for a long time. Never disappointed. Excellent! You just have to bring your own alcoholic drinks. They do sell sodas and water.
All New England, all of the time. This is my favorite seafood place anywhere. Nothing fake about this experience. Food is perfect and plentiful.
