Plus side: Staff warm and friendly. Neighborhood atmosphere. Large amount for the price. Down side: Need to update online prices. Got the Haddock basket. Batter was bland with no flavor. Tasted like warm cardboard. Fish just ok. Ended up tossing out and grabbing a couple slices of pizza. Maybe an off day, but wouldn’t recommend.
The food here is really good for its price. The lobster tastes alright and the fries are warm and crisp. There's a generous amount of haddock in the haddock chowder. The blueberry pie is probably one of the best blueberry pies I've ever had. Great place, I'm definitely coming back sometime to try the rest of the menu.
I came in late, after a long hike at Dogtown Babson boulders. The service was excellent, everyone was super friendly and attentive. The crab cakes were perfect and the cole slaw was excellent.
