The food is low quality and completely overpriced while the service is way too slow. The fish sandwich and burger had buns that were so low quality they disintegrated before we could eat them....gross. You can not even get ice cream because the coolers do not keep the ice cream cold enough. By the time you walk over to the park the ice cream is melted and running down your arm and totally soft.

Lovely little place that's been around for over 100 years!! Food is great! Cooked fresh to order. The fried clams were delicious!! The people frequenting the joint were super friendly and up for a chatty conversation. The few people that walked in had been there many times before but was surprised to see it still the same as they remembered. The owner was having a friendly chat with some other customers and I joined in. I would recommend this place for a great casual meal anytime!! Thank you ?

Best barbecue chicken around…. Hands down! All hand battered fried food of the best quality !! It would be a mistake not to make it here while you’re in Gloucester, they make the barbecue sauce home made 3-4 times a day! My favorite place in town. BEST fries too! Never crinkled or soggy… onion rings are far from bland and to DIE FOR! It’s my go to place at least once a week! It’s a shame how nasty some NewHampshire-ites get on here when they’re impatient and hangry in the biggest tourist town on the north shore. 10 out of 10 recommend !!

So me and my family went in gloucester for the first time to see the beach and enjoy this days off we have so after the beach we came in this restaurant to have lunch but im very dis appointed as we waited for the food for longer 40mins as we and my baby is very hungry and when we receive our food Onion rings no taste, coke taste nasty and the hotdog and bread looks old and chicken tender is old and looks like they just reheat it. I always give gratuity to people. I NEVER MISS anything but this time it very upset me no apologize from them instead they told we are rude as we didnt give them enough gratuity. But come on i never miss anything to give gratuity but the food is NOT WORTH IT AT ALL. we waited and close ur window on me and saying im rude??? LOOK PICTURE BELOW thats how they serve our food look the hotdog and onion rings it looks like they just reheat and very old
Nice little area to grab a bite to eat, drink, or ice cream. Service is pretty quick, and food is OK. Ice cream was OK as well.Right next to the beach and picnic area.

Most of the other reviewers apparently live under a rock where the price increases of the past couple years haven’t hit yet. Food is decent and priced appropriately for the setting and costs of doing business

Decided to stop here based on their reviews. Needless to say I was disappointed. I got the fish n chips came w coleslaw and bread. A LG soda for.$3 extra. Total cost around $28. Very overly priced granted it was probably the area.
